I don't get LRS and cheap Ayima AO7 amp
I also use a Chinese DAC (Gustard A18) and it is also incredibly good for the price (around 600$).
I don't get LRS and cheap Ayima AO7 amp
I've been using exclusively those tiny class D amps in my main system and in my bedroom system. In the main system, tri-amped, I use a TA2024 tripath chip based Trends TA10.1, heavily modded, with a good linear PSU, and it sounds absolutely marvel...
How good does my system have to be to realize an improvement with cables?
There is no hard rule. Especially when it comes to budget. If a 500$ power cord makes your 1000$ DAC sing like never before, use it. Or, if you favorite cable on your 5000$ DAC is a 30$ cable, well, so be it. only the result matters. I use super...
Cables to settle brightness
The amount of contradictory answers on this thread is mesmerizing. Yes, you can cure (to a point) brightness by swapping cables, but I would first try a different DAC and see if things get better. Then eventually fine-tune with cables. It makes m...

@au_lait you are right, we shouldn't shame anyone's physical appearance, yet I tend to associate certain "looks" with certain (political, medical, religious, or audio-related) ideas and sadly I'm most often not very far off.

@au_lait you are straight to the point, thank you. Critical listening is something that can and should be trained, and no we are not all made equal. Just like I was never able to shoot in a ball or catch one, and it would take me hundreds of hours...
5 Dumb Things Audiophiles Believes.
@richardmathes No, I wouldn't, because I don't like that kind of self-proclaimed "specialists" who seem to "own the truth" in the eyes of some, who frequently repost their pain-in-the-@$$ vids trying to prove a point  "The quality of my musical e...

What a waste of time. An ugly redneck with a duck voice telling me I can't hear differences between power cables? LOL, no thanks, hard pass. He's a disservice to the community, in truth.
Chord Dave and lInear power supply
I've had similar results buying a low noise LPS for my tiny tripath high-pass amplifier (in a tri-amped system). Much more natural, less grainy, less hash. More surprising, swapping the iFi audio low noise wall-wart PSU that came with my iFi PDIF...
Diffuser panel design - overrated?
I recently purchased a pair of diffuser panels, quite cheap (they are made out of hardened polystyrene foam) to serve as OPTICAL background behind my midrange and high frequency horns (I think diffusers look cool). The way they are positioned I wa...
Modern Turkish music
I do love Turkish music, I think Turkish language is very expressive and full of emotions, and very musical. Loads of drama, and great mix between oriental and occidental influences.
Looking for good recordings of female vocals I have not yet tried...
If you can stand some French language in your music, you could give Liane Foly a try - especially the classic "Rêve Orange" album.  Jazzy / pop French "chanson", great voice and stellar recording IMO.
Does creating a loom in cables in a system make a significant difference?
It's hard to answer. Having a full loom will maximize the positive effects, but also the negatives.  In my case I stayed for a long while with a full loom of a cable I adore, but ended up with an unnatural sounding system. Turns out having rhodiu...
Inherited a pair of JBL 4350 -- Need Advice
Keep them and make them sing?
HOW TO CHOOSE A SPEAKER CABLE?
In my opinion even tho metal purity is important (as confirmed by recabling the 15 inch of wire between my midrange/tweeter passive crossover with Neotech UP-OCC wire) in the grand scheme of things, geometry, choice of dielectric, choice of solid ...
