analogluvr: I disagree! 1:10 is fine for the 103's. They have an average output of .3mv (x 10 = 3mv). Perfectly adequate for most phono stages!

I have a pair of the older Ohm Sound Cylinders. They indeed do the 3-D room-filling sound with ease! Performers right there in the room! Uncanny!

Avoid using a series connection! Damping of both speakers by the amp is degraded! Parallel is the best way!

I recommend a pair of Ohm Walsh's. 3-D imaging from anywhere in the room! Performers right there in front of you! I have a pair! Well within your budget - and nicer looking!
