| Tube Amps Watts vs SS amp But I agree that for most speakers of 80 - 90 db sensitivity a good 50 - 100 wpc amp (SS or tube) will be more useful! Beyond that, more power is just wasted in the typical home at average listening levels! | |

| Value Integrated Tube Amps Get a Scott 233 (nicely restored, of course!). I have that one and another similar Scott tube integrated! Great American-made classic tube gear from the 60's! No need to buy new Ch*nese! The Scotts will hold their value and will always be desirable! | |
