Devialet for Wilson Audio Sasha 2 Speakers audiotroy,It isn't that I just like Rowland gear, I own it, I'm familiar with it and I compared it to several amplifiers in my system. What system did you compare the 2500R to any Rowland amplifier? I'm no stuck on one manufacturer and would gladl...
Devialet for Wilson Audio Sasha 2 Speakers I have no problem with Audiotroy posting, because he doesn't hide the fact that he's a dealer. I haven't purchased anything from him yet; however I've talked to him several times. I find him knowledgeable , honest, and a pleasure to have a convers...
Devialet for Wilson Audio Sasha 2 Speakers I've listened to, but never owned Sasha 2s; however I have owned Sophia 2s, 3s, and Sasha 1s. In addition, I've owned the JR Continuum S2. I agree that the S2 is a bargain and should be a good match for the Sasha 2s.
Amplification question - PrimaLuna Tubes vs. McIntosh Solid State Samster777,Do you have PL100 series I or II's? I've listened to McIntosh amplifiers several times and just don't prefer their sound. I find them dark and lacking detail. That being said, if you have PL100 series I, the McIntosh may have synergy wi...
Torus RM-20, Shunyata Denali, PS Audio P10 I sold my Torus RM15 and Audioquest Niagara 1000. I purchased a Torus RM20 and Shunyata outlet. I'm really thrilled with the results!
Weakest link I agree with onhwy61. At some point I want to be able to say "so what"! I'll be there after I change another outlet and maybe add a power cord to my JL Audio sub. Any recommendations on power cable for subs?
Weakest link bigkidz,I’m using a music server and DAC. What’s more important...the music server or DAC?
Weakest link I listened to a system in excess of 500K and enjoyed it. Never once did I feel pity or anything else. Everyone is different. If someone has the financial means to purchase a million dollar system, house, or car who am I to judge anyone.
Audioquest Niagara 5000 or 7000 I simply changed from using an Audioquest Niagara 1000 and Torus RM15 to the Torus RM20. Not a night and day difference, but significant. I don't know why, but I'm happy with the results.
Weakest link Kenny,That's my point when I say we don't know what we don't know. One, we must have an open mind to try different things to listen to and let our ears determine if there is an improvement worthy of the cost. Two, we need access to different equip...
Weakest link We don’t know, what we don’t know. I think my system sounds good. I have decent components, but I thought my system would benefit from having one power conditioner. I sold my Torus RM-15 and Audioquest Niagara 1000. I purchased a Torus RM-20 and c...
Antipodes DS GT versus Bryston BDP2 I compared the DS GT directly to the DX in my system. I prefer the DS GT. I wouldn't be surprised if Antipodes came out with a new DX with an external power supply soon.
Audioquest Niagara 5000 In my system, going from the Torus RM-15 to the RM-20 is so obviously more detailed that anyone can hear it. Now, to be honest I added the RM-20 and a Shunyata Research SR-Z1 AC Outlet simultaneously. I don't know if it's the combination of both o...
Audioquest Niagara 5000 Thanks. I already pulled the trigger on a Torus RM-20.
What is your speaker ownership history since 1995? Prof,Life circumstances made me change some speakers(divorce, moving to a bigger or smaller house, living/family room versus dedicated listening room, and yes sometimes because of the desire to improve on what I had contributed to why I sold some ... |
