Tube vs. Solid State Amplifiers AGD Audions has been around since 2018. If it was ALL that the word would have spread like wildfire and all the reviewers would have kept their Demo’s for 50% off. Doesnt appear any did that reading the reviews. Seems like the same 3 guys just kee...
The Hungarian lands tomorrow. That EQ/Tone Controls is a nice bonus...as is the ability to use the new KT 170 tubes. Congrats!! I can get a great discount on this brand so might have to try one myself
I need to Rip my LPs and CDs I used a Pioneer PDR-01 Stand Alone burner to copy all my Vinyl to CD-R...but that was back in the late 1990's (When CD-R blanks were around $5 each). Worked like a charm. No Computer necessary.
The Luxman L-595A SE integrated is coming. Maybe instead of speculating you should actually talk to a Luxman Rep who can tell you what the difference is. My buddy is awaiting for his to arrive shortly

So how can a great system solve less than great recordings It would pay to do your "homework" as to what recordings sound best for each title you want in your collection. If you primarily spin CD's like yours truly you will discover that Original pressings in most cases are far and away better sounding...

A phenomenal new CD transport-Pro-Ject CD Box RS2 transport Not to mention in another thread he said he compared a 10 Year Old Model Esoteric K-01 to his current streaming service. His "Store" I am told is his dining room in his house LOL He's been busy the past couple of days reviving DEAD threads of T+...
Cube Audio Nenuphar Single Driver Speaker (10 inch) TQWT Enclosure Would love to try a Bakoon for my Nenuphars but cant find any dealers selling for much less than MSRP. Every other brand Im interested in I can get at least 20% off. Its a pity
Cube Audio Nenuphar Single Driver Speaker (10 inch) TQWT Enclosure Cant believe the dealer didnt have the Nenuphar’s hooked up to Tube Gear. Thats what is ALWAYS used at the trade shows. If he had Pass/First Watt gear around surprised he didnt use any of the SIT’s instead of the XA25. (I have Sit-1, Sit-3 and XA2...
Why are Ayon tube amps not mentioned very often? Has nothing to do with the quality of the product. This is a hobby of gear flippers for the most part. RE-SALE value is VERY important. Because of the lack of interest in Ayon (and many other brands) the resale value takes a huge hit from the init...
Cube Audio Nenuphar Single Driver Speaker (10 inch) TQWT Enclosure Where are you getting this price on the Nenuphar's? MSRP?? I got mine in the "8's with a Custom Paint Job to boot. Have you actually heard this "magic speaker" you have concocted above?? Didnt think so....All Theory with no actual experience. Not...
CD v Streamed More recently mastered = Brickwalled/Compressed in most cases. CD’s of older titles from the 60’s thru 80’s sound best in their 1st generation masterings most of the time. Newer doesnt = better unless its been remixed by the likes of Steve Wilson/...
CD v Streamed George, That doesnt apply if your a dealer in Jersey City. They have magic electricity over there that turns compression and brickwalling into stunning detail and clarity unavailable elsewhere. Id move there but the Carcinogens from the nearby g... |
