Accuphase, fuses
Has anyone tried Accuphase interconnect cables? I see they have silver-plated OFC cables that are surprisingly reasonably priced.

@dwest1023  Please report back after you receive the purple fuse. Would love to hear your impressions.

@tecknik    I don't yet own an Accuphase amp, but the difficulty of getting to the fuse may deter me from trying to tweak it that way.  I have never tried the blue fuse, so I can't say. I can tell you that the purple is very good.

@audioguy85    Might be prudent.

@tecknik   Ah, the bottom. That makes sense. SR Purple is what I use now in a few of my components. Did you experiment with directionality?
Fyne, speaker cables
Thanks. I've never tried Transparent. I'll look out for a pair.

Thanks!

@jetter    Now that I see how they operate, I'm impressed. It's actually quite clever and secure.

@jjss49  It does make me wonder what we ever did without the internet. 🙂

@imhififan  Thank you, thank you, for posting that diagram. That was exactly the thing confounding me most. The cap had distinct parts and I wasn't sure where I should be applying pressure and so didn't want to apply too much pressure anywhere. E...

@elliottbnewcombjr    Yes, you're right, I posted that photo of the 0765 because I thought it looked close enough. The amp literature doesn't say whether that is the exact connector Krell uses.

@imhififan    Yes, that is the amp exactly.

The channel-lock pliers have set the binding posts free, hallelujah hallelujah! Thanks, guys!

I sent an email to Krell yesterday. Their response: "They just unscrew." So I'll have to just unscrew them. I'll try some channel lock pliers. Do you think a blast of Deoxit might help loosen it?

If they just unscrew, then they are very very tight. I'll get some heavy gloves and try again.
