Love to hear from current owners or past users of Isoacoustics Gaia footers.
In summer of 2018 I purchased sistrum platforms by Starsound Technologies (new name since, i think) with a 60 day MBG.  I liked them generally, but thought I should make some comparisons, so I brought in GAIA footers.  Frankly, I found them very v...
Any reviews of Sound Sellers of Marinette WI?
In Fall of ‘89 I bought (and still own, but don’t use) an NAD 7400 receiver and NAD 6 cd changer from Sound Sellers.  Just recently was telling a dealer who sells nationwide about SS.  Commenting on what a great name it is.  Glad to know they are ...
A few not-so-obvious things I learned doing room treatment
Thanks for the link for the mic.The person is remote.  I’ll take readings at his direction. His interpretation and recommendations will be the same as if he were here—other than he will not be able to listen to the changes along with me.Seeing gra...
A few not-so-obvious things I learned doing room treatment
Should add that while I “think” my room is pretty sorted out based on how much better I’ve made it sound over time....it will be very interesting to see what REW says about my “sorting”.  Lol.
A few not-so-obvious things I learned doing room treatment
Hilde45,Thanks so much for this thread.  After futzing with my room acoustics/set up endlessly over the last few years, I recently made changes that so-improved SQ, I decided the room would be fully addressed—either by ear or based on REW measurem...

My thoughts while reading the two previous posts....“Veroguy’s report is gonna be so interesting and useful—regardless of the outcome.  How great is it that folks evaluate stuff I’m interested in and report their findings?”“Holy Moly, Raceace alre...

What a great thread on cassettes.  Thank you, Bless you, and RIP Mr. Ottens.Every post so far is a bulls-eye in relatability for me.  To 15 year old newly-drivers-licensed music lovers, cassettes weren’t a luxury anymore than the internet is today...
I bought some Owens Corning 703. Now what?
Funny this is your most recent post.  Because 2 days ago on 2.27 I was in Home Depot looking for 703.  I will try Lowes next and then other local building suppliers.  Will let you know if I find it at a lower price than online.  I just thought of ...

@grannyring (Bill), thank you very much for taking the time to detail all the products you've evaluated (owned in most cases) in pursuit of better and better streaming SQ.  It helps so many of us evaluate our options.Like Mitch2, I've come to know...
Help setting up nework for Zenith mk3 arriving next week
sdl4,I bought my first USB when I got the Innuos.  It's my first--and last one.  So, I will take your advice.  What USB rabbit hole? I don't any rabbit hole.  Lol.  Despite having fished a single mode run "just in case", I am in no hurry to try it...

+1, Simao.
older speaker designs
Really good question. Don’t be concerned at all. My answer, however, does not pertain to your prospective f206’s. I know little about them. I am using speakers that I purchased 31 years ago, that I love more than ever because they fit my needs, li...
