Please help a rookie –used amps for magnepan 3.7? Since you have settle on SS then you absolutely must consider Classe 201 or 200. It will be a great match with your Maggie's. It will leave you not wanting for more or second guessing, really! Thank me later!
Anyone else making their own cables? I've basically stopped buying commercial cables years ago, not a good value IMO, and instead went to making my own, much better value and much better results vs cost. You can make a kick ars cable for under $100 that would cost you $700-2500 from a...
AT 120/440mla, Denon, huge soundstage I found the AT 440ml to be a bit zingy in the treble and lacking in low end body. It does not lend to long term listening and is very annoying to me. I'm really not sure why there is so much hype over this cartridge. I bought one because of the hy...

Magnepan 1.7 and Subwoofer help/recommendations The older M & K subs work well. I use 2 150's and they blend fine in my room with my 3a's. You could get 2 200's for 800.

The end of pono? So this was an interview from this year's cse and straight from Neil's mouth. There is no doubt that Pono hardware is soon to be gone. It looks like Harman is the first to bite and will be producing Pono certified car systems.
The end of pono? Really, you think he'll respond.....maybe he'll stop over for tea tonight and I can also ask him what really went down with CSNY.I'll try to find the article I was reading and post it later. Anyway......anyone know anything more?
Infinity Primus P363 TAS review Well I have a pair of primus 160 for a third system and movies. I like them and have recommended them to budget music lovers. Great little speaker period.....whatever the period means.

Ugrade cart or get a new TT Your table is better by far than a u turn and most likely better sounding than the project carbon. A new cart or better phono pre amp would be my call. There is an Acoustiech ph1p for sale here, which would take you to the next level. You would ha...
Help me improve Rega P2 A Denon dl 110 is a good upgrade. I've seen a Canadian retailer still selling them for 129. I would also look at the subplatter upgrade from tangospinner....as well as the pully. That gets you under 300. Later on you can go with the tonearm rewire... |
