The Palladian-A step beyond
Dear @fleib: """"   How is an alignment an invention anyway? Find 2 nulls along the recorded part and you have an alignment. I used similar alignments 30+ years ago setting up Japanese tables.  """"As I said to Halcro the problem is that unfortu...
The Palladian-A step beyond
I forgot to tell you that the added ( any kind. ) high distortions by the FR tonearm comes not only from its all metal/steel undamped design but from the spring used in the VTF mechanism ( ringing all the time. ). Is so bad tonearm design, on damp...
The Palladian-A step beyond
Dear @halcro / @bluewolf and friends: I think your post did not contribute to help each one of us grow up in the home music/audio enjoyment. I will try to explain this statement.AUDIO DAMPING ( CRITICAL IMPORTANCE in SOUND DEGRADATION ):- for year...
The Palladian-A step beyond
Dear @bluewolf :   """  listening credibility based on our systems and a review of a cd...... """"As I posted:   """  always is important the context/stage/scenario that surrounded any one opinions..... """I think you could agree with. The conte...
The Palladian-A step beyond
Dear @halcro : I understand what you mean but still do not make sense to me. Let me explain it and I know that the Kondo is a good SUT:the active high gain circuit are mainly " transparent " transistors where the signal pass. In the direct set up ...
The Palladian-A step beyond
Dear @halcro : Knowing your siytem and sound priorities is no surprise you like those vintage MC cartrridges and the Palladian too.You tested through one of the non damped FR tonearm and trhough a SUT along a resonant carbon fiber headshell and I ...
Where is the significant point of diminishing returns on hi-end turntable?
Dear @mmporsche : Lenco, good. Do you already decided the cartridge/tonearm combination and the rigth phono stage for your speakers/room can really " dance "?regards and enjoy the music,R.
Where is the significant point of diminishing returns on hi-end turntable?
Dear @garretc: Agree, speakers/room are perhaps the most important link in an audio system along the source. Now, not all kind of electronics can make an Alexandria/room can really " dance ", we have to take care here too.@shadorne pointed out tha...
Time to choose: Baerwald, Lofgren, Stevenson ?
Dear @fleib: The manufacturer choosed Baerwald ( I think???? because I 'm not an owner of it. )  and I don't know if he is willing to manufacture it Löfgren B. At the end Baerwald is excellent choice too.Regards and enjoy the music,R.
Why not use an arc'ed lathe?
@atmasphere : What I meaned in reality was not that you are the lathe manufacturer but you are an audio items manufacturer and in that post you speak as it not as a customer in that specific regards.Sorry, no intention against you.R.
Time to choose: Baerwald, Lofgren, Stevenson ?
Dear @barbapapa : Overall Löfgren " A "/Baerwald and Löfgren " B " has lower distortion levels than the other alignment you mentioned. That alignment is not something " special ", it's only a manipulation of one of the input values in the alignmen...
Why not use an arc'ed lathe?
Atmasphere: So what?. We are the customers and needs always that any audio item be USER FRIENDLY, thing that almost never happens because manufacturers like you think on the " troubles " and not the customer benefits.Anyway, perhaps that could be ...
Why not use an arc'ed lathe?
Maybe but true user friendly for we customers. Don't you think?R.
Time to choose: Baerwald, Lofgren, Stevenson ?
Dear @lewm : """  within less than an +/-0.5mm margin of error, """, that's almost the overhang diference between Löfgren B and Baerwald. If we made an accurate overall cartridge/tonearm set up with either Löfgren or Baerwald it´s almost imposibl...
Where is the significant point of diminishing returns on hi-end turntable?
Dear @sbank : You are rigth, LIVE MUSIC must or should be the REFERENCE and nothing else. For me that's means that we must to stay in " constant " touch with as each one time could permit it.All other kind of music experiences can enrich each one ...
