Contemplating DEVORE SPEAKERS (and others)....LONG audition report of many speakers
pryso,   Thanks.  Yes Jeff took over the "infinite slope" technology from Modifari and used it in JA speakers.  From reading between the lines - technical measurements, DIY discussions etc - I get the feeling he's actually slightly departed from...

Thanks pryso. That kind of reminds me:  At one point several years ago there were some posts by a fellow who I believe was associated with the early development of Joseph Audio speakers.   It may have even been Richard Modifari who patented th...

Much obliged, metaldetektor !!! I'm so happy that this thread actually led you to a satisfying speaker purchase. That's the best case scenario that happens when we audiophiles share our impressions of gear. I was very intrigued by the O/Bronze,...

tonywinga   It's interesting how many audiophiles suddenly become very particular about how testing is done when a result doesn't support their subjective beliefs.  But they don't seem to care about this for any "result' that supports the b...

I said we must listen any produtct in good acoustic condition...not only read some chosen electrical measures to assess his quality...The final quality of any audio system is DETERMINED by his relation to a ROOM acoustically controlled... is it ...

Yes I have lots of faith in John's aesthetic taste.  I'm sure the O/baby look very nice in person. I haven't seen a Devore model yet that didn't look great up close.

I'm happy to see your opinion on this! Yup, horses for courses. I actually think plenty of light colored speakers look beautiful.  But they wouldn't match well in my room, and as I've said I ultimately prefer darker because I don't like being su...

Hey fsconicsmith! That's good to know. I had a similar situation with Jeff Joseph when I was contemplating ordering some new Joseph Audio Perspectives.  I really wanted a darker brown color and Jeff sent me some pictures of speakers in productio...

No other opinions I guess? I was curious what others thought of the new Devore O/baby - both in terms of the looks and if they find them intriguing.  Anyone going to seek these out?

Hey folks!  Been a while!  I can't believe this thread is 4 years old now! Devore is now releasing a scaled down version of the O/96 called the "O/baby." More on that in a moment. I had held on to the idea of possibly getting a pair of secon...

What a load of nonsense. Amir has no agenda. There are a wide variety of people who participate on the ASR forum from subjective tube amp users to nothing but the highest measurement users. I take that back there is an agenda exposing bull produc...

Nonoise, I apologize. I did not notice that there was a link associated with that picture. I’m so used to seeing ASR utterly dismissed, especially by those who take the more subjective approach, that just seeing a picture "Bullsh*t" seemed more ...
Anyone else still loving Hales Speakers?
@mitchb  *puts hand up*. Me! I owned the T5s for quite a while! Definitely among the best speakers I ever owned. I still own the Hales Transcendence T1 (stand mount speakers - two pairs, actually!) and the big very rare T Centre channel. I us...
