| Does your amp/preamp/int amp have to look good? That depends on what you pay. I want both if I pay enough. Speakers may (or may not) be an exception. Ugly that still looks new, may be an indicator of how well the seller took care of the equipment. | |

| How do you know when to replace a tube? I'd replace the tubes if you can, have the old ones checked to keep for replacements. I had Quartets for years, and they are some of the best sounding (if not the best) Klipsch ever made. Good luck. | |
| Buying Tubes Again; Maddening Just replaced my beloved Linn Majik 140's with Lipinski 707's. All tube system and never going back to SS. I've never had a problem with the amp or preamp tubes. Everyone should listen to the Lipinski's, their sound is unreal right out of the case. | |
