Boston's Brad Delp passed away...sad news
That's horrible news. He will be missed!
Review: Rega Apollo CD Player
I notice the sibilance effect in Cambridge Audio CD players too. Funny, the Apollo and the Cambridges use the same Wolfson DAC.
Cardas Golden Presence - anyone familiar?
I use all Cardas Cross with fantastic results. I have wanted to try the Golden Cross myself. Reviewers (and even George Cardas himself) have said the sound gets warmer with the Golden Cross. Alas, I am unfamiliar with the golden presence, but I th...

Shouldn't the Bass be felt? Duh
Get yourself one of the larger REL subwoofers. You'll feel the bass :)

Is that 100% safe?

New DAC, or new amp?
I was thinking of buying a MF x-PSU and Xdac to augment my tube buffer and hopefully make my source a little better.Or would I be better off upgrading the amp?
Integrated amp reccomendations

New DAC, or new amp?
I was playing with the tube buffer last night. With A/B comparisons, I found that the tube buffer makes the sound "blurry" Imaging seems better, but a little high end clarity is given up. I will probably sell the tube buffer. However, I wanted to ...
Small - but GOOD - active speakers for MC
What about Genelec? Their entry models are small.
Pre-amp, integrated, new power amp...I'm confused
Thanks! I see all of your points, and they are all valid. I think I'll hold off on the Preamp. I'll do some experimenting, and take a hard look at my source. SInce it is my only source I should treat it well. A new integrated is not out of the que...
