The ideal listening room
In an old TAS (I think) they gave dimensions of 10 x 16 x 26 as ideal dimensions and this seems to be supported (roughly) by various articles I have read since. I tend to lean toward Stehno's idea of sloping walls to eliminate any parallel surface...

Cables recommended for Sony based system?
I would recommend AZ WOW IC instead of Cardas, it would be cheaper and better and still very smooth IMO
Cables recommended for Sony based system?
8TC is a little lean for my taste, Alpha Core Geortz MI2 Veracity is better
Help me to tame brightness
I think any speaker should be broken in for 300 or so hours before you consider it's sonic merits
Album which you have listened to most?
King Crimson 'Islands' - over the edge and mesmerizingPaul McCartney's first albumJohn Lennon's first albumI thought it is interesting about the 2 Beatles being listed but they are albums I go back to time and again.
What's your favorite Patricia Barber album?
I agree with Cafe Blue, I think it is the easiest to listen to as well. I find her other albums (except for Verse which I have not heard) have a quality which is almost tense in their presentation, almost too studio perfect, maybe it is her singin...
