How long does Class A have?
tweak1, how true, hope they eventually wake up to the truth.
How long does Class A have?
perkri, you are correct about the climate/weather changes but the causes are not what you think. There are two agendas that are the cause. 1. weaponized weather, controlled by Harp. 2. Chemtrails sprayed by aircraft that contain fine particles of ...
How long does Class A have?
I wonder if they couldn't add refrigerant to the heat sinks of a Class A amp to cool them. Don't laugh because I had a Marantz that used coolant in tubes that wound themselves around and through the heatsinks, no it did have a compressor.

How long does Class A have? Until the price of delivering electricity sky-rockets, where is Tesla's free energy when you need it?
So damn hard deciding which tube preamp to buy!
facten, that may well be true, but you should give him the benefit of the doubt. I wish some one would of made a few suggestions on a tube preamp for myself but in the end I had to experiment with a hand full of them and decide which one worked we...

Just narrow it down to a couple of prospects then research the hell out of them. Find out which dealer offers a 30 day trial with money back guarantee. We all been through it before. On the other hand it used to be easy to turn over used gear on A...
Why have capacitors improved so much over the years?
Yes, Lou's post was very good & made for some interesting reading. I can't understand either why manufacturers go through all the trouble of designing a piece of gear & then at the most critical point insert cheap caps.
Why have capacitors improved so much over the years?
I have not been involved in the engineering of any audio product but If I were, I would insure that that no corners were cut on the electronics. Unfortunately I think capacitors are generally the weak-link especially in Class A amps and any given ...
When someone listens to your system for the first time.
dawgfish, that sounds lovely, I bet you would of loved to have Clapton in the next room, if that were true I imagine your guests would of been floored and they never would of left.
When someone listens to your system for the first time.
It's no good bringing over people (non-audiophiles) to evaluate nothing because they have no experience to evaluate. Most regular people just want to turn it (your system) in to a juke box.

I had two people over the other day. As soon as I fired the system up they started laughing. I asked what was so funny and they said nothing. You see a good system can bring out the best in people.
Class D amps seem poised to take over. Then what?
It reminds me of an ad I posted on US Audio mart one time. A buyer asked me what a JC Penny ad has to do with me selling a tuner. Most people understand that US Audio Mart routinely puts ads on their sellers ads. Alternatively you should of figure...
HELP! I bought equipment drunk, don’t know anything.
Hi, you should make it a rule to never do business when you are drinking unless its just a couple of drinks. I don't think the two mix
Class D amps seem poised to take over. Then what?
Unfortunately Class D amps are not even as good as Midfi Class A/B. They are not taking over anything, they're just wowing some people with their extended highs, full midrange, fine details, black  background and tight bass. Once you get over that...
Amp keeps shutting off
Do you have a spare receiver or amp you could test on these speakers?
