New Mojo Mystique X
Finding a used Mystique v3 is a tall order. Wondering how "Robotic Assembly" will affect sound? Trying to find a nice NOS r2r these days is simply a challenge in general.

Thank you OP.
Tube Power vs Solid State Power
Watts are Watts as a standard of measure. But add a speaker and the game changes.Hard to view a amplifier in a "vacuum".  Most I see are connected to a wide variety of speakers with many different demands.  ;)      Oíche Samhain

I see my problem now, I did not buy the "Super Intelligent Chip".  Glad to see how it is light activated. (This from the manufacturer of the Brilliant Pebbles). I'm supposed to put the chip on top of the cd player. While the disk is inside, playin...

Negative on the emesis basin but I do have a sitz bath container that is a bit larger than a bedpan?

What we are lacking here is Mozartfan to explain how he can implement the Pebbles and The Clip into his next perfect speaker design. I am willing to spring for the rock polisher.

Funny how money is so often involved. But please believe me, I am not an ASR guy, or a measurements guy at all. In fact, am currently looking at a less than stellar measuring NOS R2R DAC because, well,  my ears. :)       I will pass on the Quantum...

I particularly smiled at the "Brilliant Pebbles" and the "Quantum Clips". Like it or not, the industry is rife with people ripping off the gullible and proving PT Barnum correct on a daily basis. I certainly do understand the comb filtering explan...
Jazz Fans-- Name some of your favorite, less well known recordings
Probably not in the category of "not well known" but I am throroughly enjoying listening to Till Brönner "On Vacation". Fairly recent release and I’m on my third pass through this album.
Integrated amp to go with Magnepan 3.7i
Op,       There is a price point where an integrated is a better deal, but remember you are paying for the quality of the components in the unit, and in some cases giving up some sound quality via shared power supplies and noise.  The 3.7i is a ve...
In praise of isolation.
Hmmm. When it comes to components, vibration can really not be helpful so why not? I splurged on some super high end ultra high fidelity practice foam hockey pucks placed under some regular hockey pucks for all the components. The Subs have the ni...
What do audiophiles do in their cars?
Pulled the stock Ford stereo out of the truck, put in a Sony WX900 & a pair of Rockford Fosgates. Stream Qobuz high rez. Sounds very nice.
Recommendation for a highly resolving amp
Here is Dr. Mertens evaluation of the 4B3 from 2018. He is still using this pairing (which I copied) of the EAR and the 4B3 three years later in his reference system. Mainly for the resolution as a professional evaluator. I happen to agree with al...
