Win,But VPI use Hurst motors!! ;-))
High quality AC turntable motor
You can't, as they are now unobtainable, nor do I suspect most owners would want to part with them. BTW, the Synchrotron runs off of 12 volts DC, and outputs either 115VAC or 230VAC.

"A post for those over 80!"Don_c55, Your ignorance is doing you no favors, as you are missing out on some great music. Enjoy your tiny world.

Galibier Teres Redpoint tape drive "LENGTH"?
The only problem with using a 1" vs 1/2" belt is the ability to manufacture a pulley that would properly fit the shaft length of most commonly used motors. Obviously as pulley length increases, run-out error at the crown of the pulley is magnified...
Who remembers the FULTON cables?
I believe it is Dennis Fraker of Serious Stereo who also dotes upon the 'correctness' of that 57 1/4" length (or multiples/divisions thereof). I myself can neither confirm nor deny.

Hi-Fi Fuses - SNAKE OIL? - or something in it?
I've tried some of the Synergistic SR fuses in both my amp and phono stage. I think the improvement falls into the 'decent' category (it certainly is noticeable, but not earth shattering), but I wouldn't buy them again. While the fuse in the power...
Stand out phono stages
Ask, Ebm - he'll tell you in less than one sentence 'dude'.
After market Motor + Belt drive for Verdier
Mosin,Yes, I think a market exists for such a product. However, for it to be truly universal (working across a variety of synchronous motors at different frequencies and possibly voltages) would require a huge effort. If one were to include adjust...
vpi classic works with music hall cruise control
Very unlikely that anything will go wrong with either the motor or the Cruise Control which IIRC is rated for a 3 watt motor at 120V. Since the 300 RPM Hurst motor is 3 watt motor, you should be good to go. BTW, a replacement Hurst motor is around...
Anti-Cables Level 3
I use the Clear Day Double Shotguns in my system. They replaced a considerably more expensive (as in three and a half times more expensive) set of cables. With Paul's cables I have finally lost all desire to audition further speaker cables; they j...
