Joseph Audio RM-33LE vs DeVore Gibbon 8, my experience. Well it looks like they sold locally. The seller was very slow to respond to emails. I made my offer this morning and he replied to my initial inquiry from last night after that email, ignoring my offer. That was 10:00 am this morning. I get an em...
Joseph Audio RM-33LE vs DeVore Gibbon 8, my experience. It’s weird that there is almost zero information about these speakers on the internet. No owners manual, no reviews, no specs. I would like to know if they are as hard to drive as John Atkinson said the 33si version was. But I can’t find anything...
Joseph Audio RM-33LE vs DeVore Gibbon 8, my experience. The owner says they have a 10” passive radiator but I can’t find any mention of that anywhere. Do you know if this is true?
Joseph Audio RM-33LE vs DeVore Gibbon 8, my experience. Thanks for the feedback guys. I’m having a hard time coming up with much info on them. I certainly remember them when they came out. But the only review I can find is the stereophile review of the RM33si.
Joseph Audio RM-33LE vs DeVore Gibbon 8, my experience. Reviving an old thread because I have my eye on a used pair of these. Anyone care to weigh in on whether or not these are still contenders?

Tip for "randomizing" a playlist. For even better ambience, why not spin vinyl instead of streaming. Will be more labor intensive, but way cooler.
Tip for "randomizing" a playlist. @gkelly I think you're getting all worked up over nothing. Sounds like he was agreeing with you.
Back in the vinyl saddle again. Thanks for putting Rocks in my head, lol…. Spinning it right now.
Back in the vinyl saddle again. For 1500.00 USD I’d keep the VPI. You aren’t likely to beat it for that $$.
Any experiences good or bad using Uship? I used them to ship some rather large and heavy speakers from Va to the northeast. As long as you aren’t in a hurry for it to happen, I think it’s the best way to ship big items.
Stereo Times review on the Tekton Design Encore Monitor It’s pretty good actually…😃
Speakers sound too bright. For everyone pointing at the room, I tend to agree that is a weak link. But the OP has stated that the KEFs didn't exhibit this behavior, so the room and the equipment are the constants in this scenario. Room treatment will certainly help any spea... |
