What happens when the stylus tip wears out on a $12,000 cartridge?
As good as Qobuz is, and it is good, it won’t beat a high quality vinyl rig. You are smoking some good s$&t….
Western Electric 300 B Vacuum tubes
Agreed. That sounds like a problem waiting to happen.
Klipsch Lascala II bin separation
@allears4u Does the speaker sit on the isopucks without obstruction from the four rubber feet? Or did you have to remove said feet? Maybe a pic with them installed?
McIntosh 2.1kw amplifier?
I’ll be waiting patiently….

@emergingsoul  Are you a potential buyer of this 130K amplifier? Or is this just another typical thread from you?
Eliminated my preamp with amazing results
I don't have experience with uber expensive active preamps. But I have owned a few up to the 6K price range and a good quality passive pre has beaten all comers so far.

Using PA Speakers In A Home "Audiophile" Application!
Once again someone conflates music "production" with music "reproduction". As indicated above, live music will certainly sound more dynamic and free flowing on most any sound reinforcement speaker. Not the same thing as reproducing a recording of ...

I'm shocked that  you guys with difficult to drive speakers and low gain/low input impedance amps find an active preamp to sound better. Shocked, I say!
Efficient speakers -- What was your journey from A to B to ?
I have no doubt that the Volti speakers are great performers. I have not heard them, but I dealt with Greg Roberts a few years ago when I bought his xovers for a pair of Khorns. He's a great guy to deal with and knows his stuff. I bet his speakers...
Young audiophile metal head looking to level up speaker choice
Look at Klipsch Forte III or Forte IV. Both can be found on the used market from time to time.
Efficient speakers -- What was your journey from A to B to ?
Curious how people would react to the assertion, "Klipsch speakers need a more careful pairing than other similar speakers." That would be helpful, possibly, as a data point. @hilde45  I do think one needs to pay more attention to supporting g...
