Cartridge advice needed, dynavector 20xh now what? I owned the 20XH and replaced it with a Benz L2. As good as the Dyna is, the Benz is way ahead in refinement resolution. The Shelter is also a good choice, had the 501 for a brief period, and the ZYX cartridges intrigue me.Oz
Short floorstanders? >For music (the main concern)<If music were really the main concern, he wouldn't put such constraints on what speakers he can buy. And he wouldn't have that damn screen in between the speakers in the first place.Oz
H.P.Caravelles owners, are you still Satisfied. I first heard the speakers on the homemade wooden stands while blcube waited for the dedicated ones, which was a loooong time. The sound was fantastic and I was sure it would only be better with the new stands. But they robbed the life out of the ...
H.P.Caravelles owners, are you still Satisfied. I hope Blcube will chime in on this one. But we both heard the dedicated Sistrum stand severely deteriorate the sound of the Caravelles. Phono stage help for Nott Spacedeck/Anna/Dynavectr The cost of an assembled K&K should be somewhere around 2K. The price of the Lundahl trannies have elevated the price recently. As much as I find Bill's plug for the Minimax phono out of place in this forum, it does look like a good candidate ...
Phono stage help for Nott Spacedeck/Anna/Dynavectr Nice plug for your product Bill. Do you think this is an appropriate place for such?Oz
Phono stage help for Nott Spacedeck/Anna/Dynavectr I will throw my hat in the ring for the K&K. This is a wonderful sounding phono stage that really fits the old cliche' of "best of both worlds". It has just enough tube goodness, but plenty of slam, dynamics and frequency extension of the SS s...
Review: Salk Sound Veracity HT3's Speaker Well, I emailed you twice to ask you to compare the Salks to your previous Silverline loudspeakers but you declined to answer either time. So you shouldn't be so hung up on comments about your review when you won't even cordially respond to questi...
