Two subwoofers for two channel music listening
You want your subs to be the deepest, tightest and driest they can be, the last thing you want is an amp driving another amp, that’s just wrong and gives one note bass, that’s why line level drive the best for them. The last thing you would want ...
Pro-Ject Xtension Evo 10 - Record Weight ?
I’m just getting it dialed in now with my Hana EL and it sounds very good. So far I am finding that 0 anti skate works best for me. I plan to do more critical listening this weekend.Oz
Klipsch Cornwall Equivalent?
Sound better than Corwalls but lack furniture aesthetic, at a third of the price.https://critesspeakers.com I owned them. Sound better than earlier cornwalls. Not even close to CW IV.Oz
Pro-Ject Xtension Evo 10 - Record Weight ?
That appears to be the puck from the EAT C-Sharp table. They are manufactured in the same building as Pro-ject tables. Here is another alternative I am looking at too for my Xtension 10.https://pro-jectusa.com/product/record-puck-signature-10-12/Oz
Von Schweikert speakers
I had the original VR4 (Silver edition) and later the Gen III HSE. They are very good speakers. From memory it seemed the Gen III was much tougher to drive than the VR4. You could do far worse, that's for sure.Oz
New Klipsch Forte IV
I think I read that the price is ~4500.00.Oz

Klipsch Cornwall Equivalent?
The hype is real, lol........
Klipsch Heresy 4?

I expected more from my speakers (not high end)

JBL 4349 or Klipsch Cornwall IV
@dsper My first question would be how much toe in was used. Pointed right at you, the sound can be overwhelming. Positioned so that they cross a few feet behind your head seems to be the sweet spot. And you need to have a little distance between t...
JBL 4349 or Klipsch Cornwall IV
Current klipsch speakers need make no apologies and need no tweeter mods. Listen for yourself and you'll see.Oz
JBL 4349 or Klipsch Cornwall IV
The Cornwall IV excels at low volume and high volume listening. That said, I tend to listen a little louder than most and I have not been able to find a level that the CW IV can't handle. Oz
HOW MUCH DO NON-AUDIO FACTORS INFLUENCE YOUR AUDIO PURCHASES?
I just looked at mahgister's system. Holy tin foil hat Batman!Oz
Can the top end of a PrimaLuna Evo integrated be tamed w/tube rolling?
I can think of two tube amps that sounded harsh.Sonic Frontiers Power 2VAC PA 100/100I would take a mid fi receiver over either of these.Oz
