Covers for racks to keep dust off?
I bought a large sheet of black fabric at a local fabric store and cut to fit over each component. Easy to remove and replace. Cheap and keeps the dust off.

What to do with a large collection
A few years ago, I sold a large collection of CDs to  declutter.com i don’t know if they’re still in business, but, worth a try. They made it easy to pack and ship the CDs. Might get some $ out of it.  Good luck!
