Dust to dust. Ashes to vinyl.
This is just strange...I find myself, wondering, why would someone want to do this? I suppose being a full blown SA member, I shouldn't wonder, why, but why it took so long..SA = stereo anonymousI guess play "MY" record at the funeral, and bury my...

Will a $700 turntable outperform a CD player?
I don't see "ONE" as the best. I would zero in on one, get it the way you like, and if you want to tinker, well have fun. BUT one better than the other, maybe...or maybe not.... Regards...

I just saw they have columns, 4-10. 45.5 inches tall. They will Stack And Test, SAT at 91 inches. Got me thinking... He'd probably cut just the baffle. The only cut, if you screw it up, you start over. More holes, more sweating, more chance of a s...
Putting weights on speakers?
I'm one of those guys that pull the drivers and rolls the inside with soundcoat and then peel and stick rubber, (very porous), to boot. Concrete does work well but it's best to use a very course fiberglass batting also..I used a 20 CF underground ...

20 hz to 350 hz. Has a pair of MB couplers? That is a lot of room to blend a bass bin.. Use to be hard to find one that would go that high. Those numbers (20-350) were used to blend Soundlab or Quads.speakers. Usually a 12", can go as high as 800 h...
which speakers should I buy?
So you want wireless and like horns?Lot of PA stuff that will work, if you're into volume, and a certain amount of quality.. But Horns for outside do work well.. Just look, to keep anything covered, in severe weather.. Some of the horn loaded bass...
Speaker placement and dB differences
If you swap left to right does it stay the same? That should narrow it down to JUST speakers. If it moves left to right it’s before the speaker including IC. Check all connections, you know. BUT swap the cable at the amp first. If it moves left to...

Who says cables don't make a difference?
georgemgraves3 posts06-30-2020 6:46pmWire (cable) can only subtract information (not that all do) from the signal it’s conducting. Since wire is not active, only passive. That’s why I don’t pay any attention (or money) to cables. What do you use th...
