Schiit Mini loko+
That is quite a hump. You say room treatment won’t fix it? from 1200 to 6300hz. Something is out of whack. Does it give that reading with one speaker at a time or does it take both. That is a frown on the EQ. A lot of the old monitors were that w...

Happy Birthday Bob Marley
He was no party pooper! :-) He left a football, basketball and bobsled team behind in kids alone. There are a few older than he was when he died now.. Shame really to go so young. He was in the mix last weekend.
Thumping noise
Is it a sound coming from the speaker itself, or the enclosure or the cabinet. Is it mechanical or is it being produced? Is there a port in the back of the sub that is too close to the back of the cabinet. A shelf and a sub, for some reason that...
Burn in period
"the ears" might, mind don't. Either you hear it or you don't. It's not an art it's training, like anything else. Knowing how to fix what's wrong with the sound in a system, that's an art. Cables do matter, especially bad ones. How they are handle...
Burn in period
Well they do BREAK-IN I don't know about burn in. Valves (tubes) burn in and actually burn up. All electronics break-in from the wall socket to the voice coil in the speaker and even the suspension in cone drivers..  Of course it makes a differen...

Tiny Room (6' x 9') speaker advice
I just rebuilt  pair of Infinity Infinitesimals. The guy paid 400.00 for a nice looking pair. He bought new ribbon for the tweeters. I installed the ribbons, checked the DVC Watsons, surrounds and turned them 180 degrees. I replaced the tweeter ca...

Replacement power cord for SONY TV - type C9 (two prong)
Man oh man I looked and looked. I couldn't even find an end in copper. I was thinking a copper adapter if you can find it and then make a light cable.  C9 is 6 amp max. Everything I see is rhodium too. YUK. Sure won't corrode. :-) Regards
