Good quality SPDIF 75ohm BNC and RCA plugs - which ideally match aesthetically too!
WireWorld makes a digital coax with RCA on one end and BNC on the other.    Pasternack.com has lots of choices for BNC connectors.  You can choose 50 or 75 ohm
Any Rhode Island audiophiles out there?
I can’t believe I never visited Save and Sound. I always knew them as a car stereo place back in the day. They really took good care of me on Teac 701t transport they sold me. I like it so much I had Aaron order me a new spare remote. Not many pla...
Eversolo or Aurender: Options and Opinions
Software support from Eversolo is pathetic.   Still will not recognize USB DAC after latest FW.   Unit was working fine for 51 weeks and then a bad FW made USB out unusable.   Does not recognize other DACs like Chord and Accuphase.  Waiting for 3 ...

Audio Video Therapy.  Good people. Great showrooms.    Fidelis in Nashua has some great gear.    I recently purchased a transport from Safe and Sound.in Chicopee MA.  Great experience,  nice selection of gear.    Natural Sound in Framingham.   ...
For Gustard R26...which bang for the buck: DDC or LHY OCK clock?
They look like good quality.  It's a digital pulse or wave they are sending to each device, not an audio signal so it should be fine if they are wide bandwidth and are the true impedance.  .  I bought a WireWorld BNC to RCA and it was $120 so it w...
For Gustard R26...which bang for the buck: DDC or LHY OCK clock?
I used a company called pasternack.com in California.  They make a lot of different specialty cables.    For the 50 Ohm cable I chose a cable with 50 Ohm BNC connections and a 50 Ohm cable rated to 4gHz bandwidth.   I did the same with the 75 Ohm...
For Gustard R26...which bang for the buck: DDC or LHY OCK clock?
I just received the OCK-2 and the build quality is high.  Ill be using it with a Mutec MC3 +USB and Teac 701t.   Waiting for cables , but using a generic bnc to the mutec for a few days.   Build quality is high,  I have been skeptical of most Chin...
Battle of the Older DAC
I would try to listen to a few DACs if possible.   Not sure I would buy a digital component that is 10 plus years old.     What's your budget?
settings on my Hegel cdp
The DAC +/-  button is for Hegel's stand alone DAC  .   The digital out should always be active.   Is the BNC cable an RCA on one end ?   What DAC are you using? If you suspect the cable , check out a company called Pasternack.com.   The can ma,e...
Challenged with Going from Integrated system to separates
You will run a stereo mini 3.5 mm from the Marantz 12v trigger to the Mac's Bypass input jack.  When you turn on the Marantz it will automatically put the Mac in "PASTHROUGH" mode .
Challenged with Going from Integrated system to separates
The McIntosh HT bypass works great.  That is absolutely the best way to merge HT into a great 2ch system.   Enjoy
CEC Belt Drive CD Transports vs Jay's Audio CD Transports
I am thinking of the Shanling ET3 for my second system.    It would be a perfect fit
Teac UD-503 Volume problem
Sorry to hear that.   I would open it and reseat all ribbon and molex connectors.  Nothing to lose.  Could be something as simple as that.  Can you control the volume in variable mode ?   Weird problem
CEC Belt Drive CD Transports vs Jay's Audio CD Transports
There are only a handful of good transports available today.   Hopefully any of the above mentioned will be reliable,  but none are really positioned to provide global support easily and cost effectively so you have to just go with your gut on thi...

One other thing... are you using Roon?
