Where can I find threaded brass rod for equip rack Slappy, I need solid brass, not hollow, and I'd prefer 3/4" which makes it even more difficult.
weak link/improvement to my system: advice The Krell amplification is crap, box that up and send it to me right away! I will send you something with which you can replace it.What is wrong with your system now that you think you need to spur the economy? My personal preference for some of t...
Poco "Legend" half-speed MFSL vinyl MFSL tended to degrade the overall quality of many of their remasters by kicking the bass up too high. I have the Poco and think its just okay. I wish they would have left things as they were tonally and done half speed master from that.
What music have you been buying? Old or new? I forgot about the new Lyle Lovett, I got that on LP too! It's hard for me to find good new music that I like since when I do listen to music on the radio it's usually classic rock stations, or oldies. When I hear the stuff my kids are listening t...
Question regarding metal-bias cassette tapes. I have never experienced this and I have lots of tape. I would not worry about it unless you are already having a problem with it.

Review: Krell FPB-200 Amplifier It's funny you would mention the female vocals because that is one thing that has pleasantly surprised me lately. I find myself gravitating toward female vocals because I like how they sound.Wierd huh?
Are Terminals Necessary? From what I've seen of his system, Albert Porter's bank account has already been terminated. That's a heck of a system! It is true that every connection is a loss of signal, but where bare wire connections will deteriorate over time, spades or bana...
SACD 2 channel vs Redbook 2 Channel matchstikman, I am a strong proponant of vinyl, and I really think the labor issue is overblown. It takes time to get the original setup right, but after that there really isn't a lot to worry about, unlike some will indicate!Get a little help fro...
SACD 2 channel vs Redbook 2 Channel I'm sorry for the confusion on my part. SACD is a vastly superior format than CD. FWIW I have never been happy until the last year or so, with digital recordings and playback gear. After 20 years on the market CDs and CDPs are finally putting out ...
SACD 2 channel vs Redbook 2 Channel Redbook CD is the format that came out in the early 80's. SACD is a different format which is much higher resolution, and actually sounds good. So it has little in common with redbook CD! CDs can be played in an SACD player, but SACDs cannot be pl... |
