Mytek Brooklyn - A dangerous pre!
You know what you need to do. Ground yourself before touching it.
What do people place on their platter for dust protection
I use a can of compressed air to blow off dust with some success.
Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Noise issue driving me nuts!
Does it hum when motor is off and stylus is on an album? You sure VTF is correct?
Speakers for aging audiophiles - What's with today bass emphasis ?
Rogers LS3/5a?
New to this. How do I stack my stuff?
You could cut the speaker cables (shorter is better) and clamp the bare wire in the speaker terminals. Otherwise, not a big deal. Stacking components is not the best. I would move the preamp to the transformer-free side of the CD player. Replace t...
Technics Turntables...really???
The new Technics tables. The old 1200s are as you understand them - solid DJ tables which respond well to mods.
Does anything better Jelco arm ~$1000
@sbank The Jelco phono cable is more than fine. I would get it and not worry for a while about spending more. I have tried others 2 or 3 times the price and went back to the Jelco one.

Audiodesk Vinyl Cleaner Pro - Drying Issue
I use a AS myself but not an AD. Would it be anything to do with not enough surfactant causing the water to bead up?
Phono stage can minimize tics and pops on vinyl
@atmasphere Somewhat ironic that you say cost isn’t a factor while using your amps as examples to support that point. :-)
Questions about VPI Turntables and rotational speed
Yeah, the phone can only do wrong. Can you hear instability when playing a recording with piano? The SDS simply recreates a clean version of the voltage waveform needed by the AC synchronous motor.
Phono stage can minimize tics and pops on vinyl
Dunno but don’t fall into the trap of giving up detail ands inner resolution for a filtered sound with a cheaper phono amp. I’ve been so happy with my phono-pre that I’ve never felt the need to experiment with suppressing vinyl noise. However the ...
Phono stage can minimize tics and pops on vinyl
Transient response rise time and decay, and power supply stability contribute to superior recovery from vinyl damage noise.

@dorkwad Isn't the TFT out of production?
