| Phono cartridge noises @skyy75234 Yeah, the tracer was between me and Lew in discussing signal injection. Are you sure there are no routers/modems/repeaters near the room? Grados can be prone to hum. Have you tried a different cartridge? | |

| Would changing to a MC solve my problem? 2.4mV with 46dB gain will give you 400mV 0.4mV with 66dB gain will give you twice that. Ref. Vinyl Engine. You could also get a higher output MM where 4.5mV beats both at 46dB gain. | |
| Phono cartridge noises @lewm It's basically adding a signal at any point in a circuit for whatever reason, mainly troubleshooting. See here for more info. In this case the added signal is the unwanted RF. | |
