Fixing Wall Shudder
Use a frequency generator app on your phone connected to your audio system and run through the frequencies noting the Hz and location of the resonances. This will help you identify the failure points.
Tubes, cheese, wine and cognac
@niodari Unless the connection has gone open circuit, you will be able to compare the voltage on both channels. If there’s a difference, something is up. Measure across the resistor and from the tube pin to ground.

It's possible the cathode resistor suffered damage and changed value causing incorrect bias.  The amp works but the channel with the burned tube sounds weaker.

Brother Dege – How To Kill A Horse (Magic Bullet 2015) I really want to like this. Musically, decent enough but lyrically, it's not really cutting it for me.

Upgrade path question. Upgrade analog or turn to digital?
Depends how many records you own and whether you enjoy them. I see no reason not to buy a decent streamer/DAC for under $2k and add it as a source to your primary analog system. Just power if off for critical LP listening.
Roger Waters Live Last Night in Glendale,AZ
I’m in the Rog camp for the most part but I’ll say this: If Roger can’t express the opinion in his music anymore-something he has done magnificently-and has to rely on preaching, he’s failed a little as an artist.

@sbank +1 Gary Karr Albinoni. I heard this played in the Acora granite speakers room at Axpona a few years back with Jeff from High Water Sound. Simply magnificent to these ears.
