PS Audio Revises Marketing to a Direct Sales Only Model
Progress has made it difficult to survive in this hobby, especially for the manufacturers. We, who buy, will always be there, but those who sell, have to adapt to market trends, and good look with your crystal ball, my dear seller. Some see the wri...
... WHAT POWER CORD(S) ARE PLAYING IN YOU SYSTEM TODAY?
Triode Wire Labs Digital American for my integrated and SACD player and Cullen Cable 10GA PCs for my power strips.
It’s you.
I was always partial to the Irish flat caps myself but go for the nondescript trim brim hat when out in the sunned, yes, it's odd that I only notice it when it comes off after that walk.🤔All the best,Nonoise
It’s you.
There used to be a time when we all wore different hats. There was also a time when that phrase was known and appreciated. We wore one hat when with family, and a different one when with friends. The same went for work, play, late night soirees, va...
It’s you.
True dat!
Is it the amp or the wiring?
Yes, and, no. By swapping out the integrateds, you've eliminated that variable. Trying different speaker cables will determine whether your next step would be the speakers. Something could have slipped past QC at the factory, only to assert itself...
Is it the amp or the wiring?
Just bypass the internal speaker wiring and see what or what doesn't happen. Then you'll know if it's the cause. Could be some critter chewed on the wiring in your wall. All the best,Nonoise

It takes time to get the stink out of your ear
Not for a long time now. I know which ones to avoid and if I make a change in my system or try a new tweak, I'll break out an old baddie and see how it sounds. If there's no improvement, out it comes and in goes something I know will sound good.Al...
How I tamed digital glare.
tom8999, I can’t take full credit as others here who have gone before me have praised the MC-0.5. Only after awhile, when the dust has settled and folk like lowrider57 gave his impressions, that I thought I’d try it out. This stuff is the real dea...
Wondering why...
That's a real shame. I always enjoyed Michael's work even back when he wrote the column for audiostream.com only to be replaced by Rafe Arnott. He was also a staff writer at 6moons.com.He's an artist as well and I think he may have been a writer a...
High Fidelity Cables MC-0.5 Effect
@lowrider57 ,I use one Gutiwre on my SACD player and noticed a bit of improvement. Since all of my RCA inputs were used on my integrated, I had to wait for the XLR adaptor to use it and with the MC-0.5s in place, the improvement was more than with...
High Fidelity Cables MC-0.5 Effect
I just spent the last hour with the adaptor back in place sharing two MC-0.5s with my integrated's outlet. All it took was about halfway into the second track and the odd effects I heard before were tamed down. By the third track, it was wonderful...

High Fidelity Cables MC-0.5 Effect
I found the base to be more prominent but also, more detailed, lower, and tighter in presentation. I've been wearing out some Billie Eilish CDs lately (I find her fun and refreshing) and the synthetic base simply growls and excites my room in a wa...
