magnepan mmgs-buy zero autoformers or stands 1st? Each will do the job. Can you listen to both? My gut feel is the Musical Fidelity would be the most musical butKrell has its' fans.
My Martin Logan SL3's are warped, what should I do? Here's a thought. Call Martin Logan. They provide excellent support and can give you answers instead of conjecture.
Vandersteen 2Ce Signature or Quad 22L Steve, the 22L is not a panel speaker.
Vandersteen 2Ce Signature or Quad 22L I've owned and like both. The Vandy will provide better bass but the Quad is much more transparent. The Music Reference is very good and will work well with either. I would go with the Quad.
Alison Krause + Union Station "Live" LP It probably would sound better from an analog master. However, DSD is excellent. If this had been available when CD was launched (almost 24 years ago!) digital may have totally wiped out the LP. Who knows?
Cal Audio ? They made good products but have been out of business for years. Support will be an issue if repairs are needed.
magnepan mmgs-buy zero autoformers or stands 1st? Cooch, I'm not sure why you posted the question. Buy the autoformers (they're good), buy the stands (their great), break in the speakers for 300-500 hours (they will improve)and keep the same amp and you STILL won't be hearing the speakers at thei...
magnepan mmgs-buy zero autoformers or stands 1st? Yes, I have and so have many others. If you're happy that's fine. The amp is not a good match for the speakers. You asked for input and a few of us suggested that autoformers or stands should not be the focus. One of the nice things about advice, y...
Setting Azimuth Use the Graham setup tool, toss the KAB device and relax.
magnepan mmgs-buy zero autoformers or stands 1st? More current will make more of a differnce than either. 40 watts is not enough to allow them to open up and show their best.
Help My wife bought me a sub That's a small room to successfully integrate a sub if you want more than boom. I like the HSU alot. Not expensive and very tuneful when tuned in properly. You also might look for one of the older NHT 10" powered subs which won'toverdrive the room.
Question about VPI Warranties Couldn't disagree more wiht Stilts1's comments. I've been a VPI customer for years and they have ALWAYS been helpful and responsive.
Question about VPI Warranties Why don't you ask VPI? If I recall, the warranty is not transferrable from the original buyer to a subsequent buyerand is invalid if not purchased from an authorized dealer.Go to the source? Don't guess.
How can I reach vinyl nirvana with my setup? First of all, be sure the cartridge setup is spot on. It can make all the difference in ho-hum and spectacular. After that, I would upgrade the cartridge first, the phono stage next, then the arm and lastly the table. Again, don't do anything unti...
Naim ? It's pronounced "NAME". Their stuff is good but can get pricey when you add their upgraded power supplies. |
