Rebuild or new cartridge with my zeta tonearm
Considering the fact that Zeta belongs to heavy arms the right question would be ''which cart from Low compimance and lowotput kinds is preferable for this arm?  BTW excelent arm forlow compliance MC kinds with chakster argument added : low price.
Goldmund Studio - still relevant today?
The only problem I know off is the motor. The German motor isnot available anymore so the ''model'' with this motorr should be avod. The later motor was Japanese (JVC?) which was more reliable.
Path of signal from turn table to speaker
What kind of ''signal'' is coming from TT? Without cartridge therewill be no signal at all. Then different kinds of cartridges havediffrent ''signal''. Connecting MC cart to an MM input will notproduce ''desired signal''. As mentioned so often : '...
???Cartridge break in???
Logicaly ''break in'' assume reliability of our ''sound memory''. Otherwise comparison between different ''time points '' would notmake sense. The problem is that our sound memory is notreliable. We probably accomodate to our carts after some peri...

Our own brain is trying to save our own selfrespect by suggestingthat the cart you paid , say, $6000 for and which sounds like crapwill sound ok with, say, 100 hours of break in. I assume that thereason is Freudian ''super ego'' which wil never ac...

This question is impossible to answer because Linn invent eachyear an ''imroved version'' . Who among us is clairvoyant?wolf-garcia perhaps?
Tube myths
Why not ''tube tastes'' instead of mythts? Myths are nameswithout a bearer. Like Pegasus. But tubes do exist and thereare even many kinds of them.
Tube myths
wolf-garcia, Your statement suggest that you deed not understandmy statements. Otherwise my ''second language'' ( I use 5) would not be mentioned. But how can you comment on whatever that youdon't understand?
???Cartridge break in???
If the cart is ''tuned'' by the maker how does he know how thecart will sound after , say, 40 or 80 hours of use? Or, rather, if the cart is tuned than the cart should sound astuned without any need for ''break in''.  According to me'break in'' is...
Why Do 12" Tonearms Cost So Much More Than 9"?
The most TT's are made for one single 9'' tonearm. Some likeSP 10 needs 10" arms. But for those who own an TT withsingle 9'' or 10'' arm but want a second arm there is no otheroption than 12'' arm on an armpod which can be only installed next to t...
