I've had nothing but the best experiences with TMR.They've always communicated well, nicely over-packaged components and proven to be consistently accurate in their assessment and description of used gear.Any company staffed by human beings can ha...
Dazed & Confused

Are there any current high end dipole speakers (dynamic)?
Definitive Technology still makes the bipolar BP-10B.It's comparatively quite inexpensive and I'm sure it's not in the same league as the other speakers mentioned here. But, it's a well made, true bipolar speaker.I have Maggie smmgs and 1.6's, both...

Samantha Fish: album "Kill or be Kind"Lots of good rockabilly and bluesy tracks, in particular: "Dirty" and the Title track.
Most annoying song, period.
Mitchagain, Wow...I had completely forgotten The Pipkins: Gimme Day Ding. (Probably suppressed it).The disgust for the song was only rivaled by the shame of remembering the words. Can't believe that they used to play that on the radio all the time!...

I guess I’m not sophisticated enough to appreciate the critically acclaimed album: "Troutmask replica" by Captain Beefheart. It just grates on all my senses.

How can so many people who claim to be audiophiles and claim to have owned Maggies recommend them to someone looking for electrostatice speaker recommendations? Have you noticed a power cord and a big power supply on the back of your Maggies? :-)I...

Which Stands for Magnepan LRS (and other models): Mye, Magnariser, Sound Anchor, etc
I retired my old smg’s because the sweet-spot was just too small, and the stands pointed them upwards. I just got tired of working to get in the sweetspot all the time. Then I lucked out... I found a pair of MMG’s with magnerisers already mounted ...

@Slaw,You can't go wrong with vintage Bonnie Raitt."Everybody's crying Mercy" on the LP "Takin my Time" is gripping. There's no "b" stuff on that disk.Bonnie was still making music with Freebo back then.Saw her in concert in the early & mid-se...

@Slaw & @Reubent,Yes, Tattoo You has a lot of great tracks. They are more complex than the Stones I remember. No Use in Cryin' qualifies as a classic. The soundstage in Slave is huge and busy as hell with the hammond, sax, drums, vocals, guitar,...
