Admit it Raul, you really want one of these but are just trying to talk yourself out of it.   ;) :)
Lyra Delos A truth teller or what?
Anyone who dislikes the RF peak is at liberty to choose loading values aimed at flattening it as per JCs supplied data.I also think ancillaries have a strong influence on the final result eg choice of phonostage and room acoustics. Unless those ar...
TECHNICS 100th Anniversary 2018 Premium Turntables. Their best ever.
Mmakshak, I agree completely. ;)The essence of a good performance IMO is to get the sense of a living, breathing person behind the microphone not just a collection of notes & sounds. Not to mention a soundscape that features the necessary dyna...

Question for TW Acustic Owners
Salavat, better late than never! :)It's a synthetic oil which they supply specifically for their tables. Couldn't say who makes it.BTW, to answer the OP's question in more detail, the trick is not to over apply so after cleaning off the old oil, s...
Grading phono cartridges Part 2.
Hold on... You've got 2 entries for the CartridgeMan Mm3 (156 & 210). Knowing that this one is very tonearm sensitive, what is the difference and which arm did you use?I be interested to know what Raul, a seasoned journeyman, makes of this study.
Graham Phantom 1 Owner's Manual
This may seem an obvious question but have you tried Bob Graham himself? He is a busy man but will get back to you. Bob also has agents in the U.S. who are happy to handle the day to day business (upgrades etc) on his behalf).

There are lots of people out there willing to sell a second hand cart for 5000 bucks. They are probably picking up the phone as we speak ;)
Galibier Stelvio II, Durand Kairos with Lyra Kleos (HEAVEN)
Dear Luis, First of all many congratulations on taking possession of one magnificent “beast” of a turntable. I’m sure it will quell the desire to upgrade for years to come. :)   As an aside, I note the manufacturer of the Kairos states that t...
Oh no, there's metal in your records!
The effects of magnetic particulates in old carts makes one wonder if there is an argument in favour of replacing or reconditioning cartridges more frequently than we would normally have considered? (A slightly off-topic comment I realise....)
Oh no, there's metal in your records!
Dear Jonathan,Many thanks for rescuing me! :)(Lyra were not the suppliers of my original information BTW but it was very kind of Jonathan to elaborate on this problem. Top man!) Having given the earlier question (ie the source) some thought I real...
