Former Tekton owners: What have you moved on to?
ooop ya got me.U never did respond to any of my comments in the past. You just ignore logic and change the subject.
Former Tekton owners: What have you moved on to?
213,Really, nothing to say huh?I was stating factual points and asking actual questions that if you weren’t full of it you would be happy to answer. When someone brings up logical arguments to you, you completely shut down. What’s up with that 213?
Former Tekton owners: What have you moved on to?
Hahaha. 213. If anyone needs to get a life it’s you. Been trolling every Tekton forum you can for months and months. You seem to care an awful lot about them for some weird reason. Yes, most speakers are made with mdf cabinets, and yes you continu...
Former Tekton owners: What have you moved on to?
213,We would love to hear about what 20k speakers you tore apart in the last 2 years and what you did to them and what you saw.
KEF LS50 Wireless -- wow!!!
arafiq,I have been eyeing these. One reservation I have is how they will do with rock and occasional metal. I have heard that the non powered version is not so great with this but the LS50W sounds like it is very well matched with the internal amp...
Paradigm Persona 3 vs 5 vs Monitor Audio
Dave you said in another thread that the the Legacy Aeris will beat out speakers costing 50k I believe. Now you are saying nothing under 25-30k can beat the Persona 3? Which you sell both. You never say IMO or anything of the like. It's obvious y...
Tekton Double Impacts
Nitrobob,Will be interesting to hear your comparison since Ascend is known to be a Big Bang for your buck product. I have a pair of Vapor Stiff Breeze with the Raal. They impress the hell out of me in a lot of ways. They only stayed hooked up for ...
Tekton DIs or Legacy Focus SEs?
Dave,Every person who owns the Tektons are saying they are not warm. You just keep repeating yourself saying "yes yes" they certainly are warm. Warm is definitely not a descriptor I would use either but I'm sure you will tell me I'm wrong.
Please suggest bookshelf with best bass response under $4000 pr.
I'll second Dynaudio for big punchy bass out of a small box. I'll also throw in the Guru QM10/2. Really fun and great voiced little speaker with lots of bass. Dynaudio will play louder.
$3000 Speaker Search
Acoustic rock or any halfway descently recorded rock/ metal on the Tekton DIs is epic. Probably way overkill for your room though. Favorites are Alice In Chains acoustic live and Eric Clapton live. Maybe Impact monitors or Electrons would be a goo...
Help me narrow down some speaker choices
I picked up a used pair of Vapor Stiff Breeze about a week ago. Impressive but need some power to come alive. This was the first time I heard a Raal tweeter. Really like the presentation of these. I couldn't really see this tweeter offending anyone.
Fair price for my Wilson Audio Sophia 2 Speakers
Those are 7-8 years old from new right? I would think 5-7k would be in the ballpark.
Tekton Double Impacts
Only if she's cute ;-/
Dealers hijacking the discussions
I am also somewhat annoyed by this and yes I have a very good idea of whom you are referring to.
