Tube Rolling.......my first experience.....WOW
It isn't so much cost, but availability of NOS tubes. You would need to be sure your product sounds the same from sample to sample...kinda hard to do if you can't source the tubes? That's why most all of the tube gear manufacterers use new product...
What do you think?
I think he should have e-mailed the original ad picture owner, (in this case Muzikat) and told him what he was doing and asked permission to use the picture.

You're lucky you had the guidance of Mark and Nick to help through the JUNGLE of tube rolling or your bike and golf clubs would now be garage sale items. You just wouldn't have enough time after all the tube combinations and trying to source them!...

You'll need a stand alone Phono Stage. Make sure you buy a Phono "STAGE" and not a pre-preamp which just boasts the output from a MC cartridge. A Phono "STAGE" has a built-in RIAA circuit.

If your sub has an "always on" setting, you could just leave the sub on full time and then you wouldn't need the auto sensor voltage output from the SSP-75.

What to listen for when setting VTF?
If the arm is to high in the back, the treble will be bright and could have "sibilance" if to high. Also, bass will be very thin and lightweight. If the arm is to low, the treble will be recessed and light in detail. Bass will be "boomy" and bloate...
