Dirty little secret of Pedigreed, decades old Speaker line - no one will address
Already asked and still waiting for an answer, but why do you care? There are lots of companies out there that don't make their products in the manner I would choose to do so.  I've got a very simple response to that -- I don't buy their products.
A Better Way to Buy Gear - Help Needed
The only "easy solution" when dealing with a either a scammer or a jerk seller that is unwilling to show what is being sold is to walk away.   Going forward with the transaction is a major roll of the dice.
Need some treble
Agree with @hifiman5 -- the Lokius gives you a bit more flexibility in the upper range. The Loki Mini does 2K and 8K in the treble while the Lokius does 2K, 6K and 16K. Keep in mind that the highest note on a piano is 4,186 Hz. Everything above th...
New DAC issues
@dougthebiker -- sounds like Schiit needs to adjust the length of their trial period.... ;-)
New DAC issues
@dougthebiker -- "Even Schiit says to play their DACs for about a month before you even listen to them." Do you have a reference for that? I've read Jason Stoddard's book and follow his online missives over at Headfi, and never seen him or Mike M...
Crossovers? How do you evaluate if crossover is any good?
@emergingsoul -- I know you like stirring the pot, but why are you posting a question about speaker crossovers on the amp forum and not the speaker forum?
Need some treble
@sureshmirchand -- just a thought, but one other question for you. How does live unamplified music sound to you?  The reason I ask is that the brain is pretty good about making adjustments as our hearing ages.  I'm in my 70s and hear nothing above...
Need some treble
Second the recommendation for a Schiit EQ -- they have three options. The Loki Mini is only $150 and offers four bands. The Lokius is $300 with six bands (and offers balanced XLR in/out as well as RCA) and the top-of-the-line unit is the Loki Max ...
A switch for 3 amps
@audiodidact -- concerning your question, about 18 years ago I had Maggie 1.6QR speakers that I powered with rebuilt Dynaco Mk 3 mono amps (60 watts each) and was very comfortable with the pairing.  No problem with volume, though I'm not a head ba...
D’Agostino Integrateds
Just a comment, but I'd think of room acoustics / speaker positioning long before changing amplifiers when looking to fix a mid-bass issue.
A switch for 3 amps
I see I made a typo in my prior post that didn't say things as clearly as intended. Don't power on a tube amp with no speaker connected, though it is acceptable if you use a suitably size resistor in place of the speaker.
A switch for 3 amps
I know nothing about the switching options offered, but one needs to be careful with most tube amps -- you shouldn't remove the speaker load when they are turned on but not in use. An option would be to have them switched to a suitably sized (ohms...
Phone stage with 2 inputs
The Schiit Skoll phono preamp has inputs for both balanced and single-ended RCA and you can switch between them from the front panel or the remote.
Give Up on Bacch?
Interesting story -- my two cents is that for the costs and complications involved, I'd want to be completely blown away by the improvement in sound quality.  I'm not hearing that vibe from you....

@psgary -- the link provided doesn't work for me....
