Green Mountain Audio Chroma HX Review
lots of good speakers out there.  If you were unhappy with the Chroma I recommend moving on and not rehashing its design and what is or might be wrong - in my opinion not worth your time,  Once you identify the sound you like you can more easily f...

@kenjit what speaker did you finally end up with?
Green Mountain Audio Chroma HX Review
true...audition before you buy is best, especially new.  I listened before I bought my GMA.  Absent of that - you are relying on posts, reviews and documentation.I have foregone "the listen before you buy" in cases where the used market is very so...
Harbeth 40.2 OR Spendor Classic 100 OR ??
I will be curious what you ultimately decide as I have been fascinated with both of these speakers.  In college my brother-in-law owned a pair of SP1 which I truly enjoyed.  I have heard smaller Spendors at shows and again I liked.  I have never h...

@kenjit Odd - 6moons has reviewed several GMA speakers and based on my reading seemed to enjoy. In fact the Callisto was honored with one of their awards.http://6moons.com/audioreviews/gma2/callisto.htmlhttp://6moons.com/audioreviews/gma/continuum...
KEF blades 2 or Dynaudio C4?
i will just say when i heard both the Dynaudio and KEF they were driven by multi tens of thousands of front end gear.  I can only presume the presenters took due diligence to ensure equipment synergy.  Again, i didn't like the blades at that price...
KEF blades 2 or Dynaudio C4?
I think a thorough audition is a must, escpecially at this price point.  I have been to several shows and not impressed with the Blades considering their cost.  However, my good audio friend thinks they are outstanding.  @mgrif104 my teenager daug...
Hard to sell my Klipsch Heritage Speakers for a possible Harbeth upgrade.
I have never used a high quality tube amp with the Cornwalls - I only used a Fisher 400.  I found the bass withe Fisher to be extremely sloppy.  Today I am using a Class A 50 watt amp - Clayton s40.  I might have to find a good quality tube amp.  ...

@elevick what Zu did you audition?I found huge difference between their lower price models and the Druid.Specific to Coincidents, I have always wanted to hear.  They are 1st order crossover design correct?  What model do you prefer?
My daughter pushed my tweeter in-HELP!
My daughter pushed in a tweeter when she was very young and I was incredibly annoyed by the incident.   In all honestly I never could hear the difference in sound with the tweeter being pushed in, but it bothered me - they were Dynaudio.  I eventu...

+1 on whoopycat’s suggestion.  Room, equipment and personal tastes really makes an audition critical, though I admit I have bought based on hype only later to sell.

Not a fan of the Zu Omen - sounded thin and brittle.  I think the Klipsch are much better.  However, I believe Zu allows you to upgrade within the year and if you move up the Zu chain things get better.
narrow and wide baffles and imaging
OP - of those speakers you listed, what did you prefer?
