Clear Day Cables Speaker Cables I wanted to let this community know about the absolutely positive experience I have with the Clear Day double shotguns speaker cables. Been meaning to share my experience for the past 2 week, but did not find time. I am thrilled like a kid.My only...
My Parasound A21 review and VS Emotiva XPA Chayro,You are so very right! It depends where in the journey you are and if you see a piece of equipment as "worth" the improvement, for the price paid.
Parasound A21 vs Bryston 4bsst 2 Zd542,I think you need to compare the A21 with Pass Aleph while driving the Aerial 7T. The Pass would probably do great with high sensitivity speakers, but might not sound good with the Aerials. Ricred1's room is also not a small one, so the Pass ...
Parasound A21 vs Bryston 4bsst 2 Dave_72,Have you compared the A21 to your 4BSST. I was wondering how I would be able to identify a middle or the road vs really high end component, if I get a chance to compare.
Parasound A21 vs Bryston 4bsst 2 The A21 will drive the Ariels without issue. I have not heard a Bryston and so cannot comment. I found that this amp provides the best results with XLR connections. Great bang for buck!

A21 or A23 for KEF 700? Go with the A21, if possible, just for the SQ purpose. I had demoed both and preferred the A21.
Speaker cable manufacturers Jim,I heartly recommend the Clear Day double shotguns. I switched from a hybrid Copper-Silver cables to Clear Day's all Silvers and the difference is absolutely amazing, to say the least. I have yet to update my system page. All I can say is, talk ...
Room treatments behind or between speakers? Tboooe,You are welcome. If your rear is open to the family room, then reflections on the wall behind your speakers should not be as big a concern as it was in my case. You probably also want to think of speaker re-positioning or nearfield listening...
Room treatments behind or between speakers? Tboooe,If you have already purchased the room treatments, then I think you should try it out in both the places:1. between the speakers on the wall behind2. directly behind the speakers on the wall behindChances are you will most likely choose opt...
Audio Sensibility vs. Signal Cable speaker cable Thanks Bluenose.I could not find much information on Audio Sensibility. A couple of other threads on OCC did not leave an impact on me that OCC makes a difference in sound. In fact people mentioned that cryo was more audibly different than OCC.I h...

Anything you can put between spikes and carpet? I have a thick granite slab under my speakers, and it made a good difference, because the speakers were more stable. I also use Herbie audio's Extra Thick Hush Puckies between the spikes and the granite.
Audio Sensibility vs. Signal Cable speaker cable Sunnyjim,Did you try the Audio Sensibility cables yet? I am wondering if the OCC material makes a big difference.
Preamps better than Parasound JC-2 ? As an update, I found out from Parasound that the JC-2 BP which I had as a loaner had a faulty board and so had a 8db extra gain. Apparently, it also affects the sound quality. The dealer will get this corrected and I plan to audition it again in m... |
