SVS Subwoofer Isolation feet. Will I lose bass?
Unless you've invented anti-gravity there's no such thing as isolation. What we have instead is vibration control. And you're right, shakey rubbery feet will damp vibration, sucking up energy and causing you to lose bass.   Not very much however. ...
It happened again tonight
Welcome to the Machine is a real experience. The throbbing of the machine, to describe even that part alone is a challenge because lots of systems can do the throb but it wasn't until the DBA the character of the vibrations is felt as this immense...
Basic anti vibration? Cones vs pods? Is there "good enough solution"?

Four subs, of virtually any size, brand, model and power, will give you just the sort of seamless foundation you desire. Its really as easy as buying four, putting them different locations around the room, and adjusting the levels. Do it right and...

Why no interest in reel to reel if you're looking for the ultimate sound?
Nothing beats RTR. Until you start factoring in all the things that beat it.
power cord directionality
Not the only thing that's backwards, apparently.
Which is the better decesion?
There is a much better choice than a power conditioner but at $1k is probably more than you are ready to spend right now. And do not buy a cheap one, that will be money down the drain. The Synergistic power cords you are looking at are the industry...
Subwoofer advice sought
Truly deep, accurate bass does indeed improve imaging, midrange, and treble, and contribute to a sense of envelopment. It improves midrange and treble because of the way the ear senses volume balance. Two speakers can easily produce enough midrang...
