No binding post a good idea?
I guess you never heard of 5-way binding posts.NBP looks different from usual 5-way binding posts. The huge metal bar in usual BP disrupts flow of audio signal. I think a NBP amp with a NBP speaker will make good signal transfer. Thanks!
No binding post a good idea?
No Binding Post accommodates banana plugs, spade connectors, and bare wires. No modification on cable connectors is needed. The bare wire will sound best without unwanted metal to degrade the signal. The appearance is similar to Merlin speaker BP ...

If your listening room is small to medium size, Wavetouch Grand Teton speaker may be better suited. GT is preferred to Avantgarde and Magico Q1. http://www.wavetouchaudio.com/reviews.html

What is Imaging?
Something audiophiles go crazy over and music lovers don't notice as much.Something that has caused folks to buy speakers and then get absolutely sick of their distortion and other problems. Upgrading gears and find new sounds are fun! Problem is...

Are you an Audiophile?
I have been an audiophile wannabe for last >25 years. I think I am not a wannabe anymore. I am truly enjoying my sound system. I had never thought I was the audiophile when I was not confident with my sound system or looking for upgrade gears i...
Having trouble with sound deadening
I recommend a couple of bass shakers. Too much bass from powerful sub could hurt listeners’ ears. Young people's ears are easy to damage! The bass shaker is more effective and fun to feel the action in the movie. They are quiet, small, cheap and e...

Very large room HT
Bo,By using the sub from 16hz till 140 hz the level of integration is a lot better than used to 40-80. The Monitor Audio PLW-15 has an extreme fast and tight response. What do you recommend for typical low pass cross point of PLW-15 with PL-200?Jac...
Need a very neutral interconnect-
Correction for above post! my room is acoustically pretty dead and the "Back wall" is dark.Back wall =>> wall behind speakers = Front wall.-
Need a very neutral interconnect-
I define "Blacks" as a slightly darker and thicker air around individual acoustic images in open (natural and pleasant) sound stage. This helps to see/identify acoustic images clearer. It's not like a halo/haze (bad! you don’t want that!) which is...
