Down sizing
I have 1 pair of speakers that are connected to the receiver or power amp by bi-wiring, (both receiver and power amp have A+B speaker capabilities). So when I'm spinning vinyl the pathway is: TT=>phono preamp=>Tandberg Receiver. When I lis...
Electrical Power Outlet advice
Furutech, Leviton, Hubbell outlets...how would you all rate each as far as 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and why? Definitely going with hospital grade outlets. Leaning towards a 20 amp double pole GFCI circuit breaker in the panel box. @theaudioamp you’...
Electrical Power Outlet advice
These are a lot of different paths to take. It seems there’s a higher consensus for the GFCI circuit breaker, eliminating the need for multiple individual GFCI outlets. I need at least 3 new outlets. One for Primare power amp, and 2 for Synergisti...
Unfinished basement listening room
At first I thought about selling the Primare amp and preamp, then thought, what if the Tandberg stops working? I've got 2 strong sons. Between them, I'll get the amp to the basement. Thanks for sharing. Glad your back is better.
Soudstage Height?
I also noticed the phenomena of the sound stage height rising the closer I got to the speakers. But while the center stage remained constant, unfortunately, the music no longer came from the sides of or back of the speakers. Surrounding music and ...

@ghdprentice Thanks for the positive feedback. But why do you suggest I try to get the 80 lb. amp downstairs? The Tandberg is doing a great job. If the Primare goes down, it'll probably never go up again

Pictures have been posted. Thanks for encouraging it to be done.
Unfinished basement listening room
@jjss49 you've got enough equipment to open your own store. Must be a ton of fun and then some listening to it all. @ghdprentice, your systems are breath taking. I know they provide you with hours on hours of top notch entertainment. I don't want ...
Unfinished basement listening room
@twhitezzz I bought 3 large rugs and placed one each on the the back and front walls and the 3rd on the floor in front of my speakers (the rug reaches a foot behind my listening area). I had 4 Aurelex Geofusors and placed 2 (stacked) about 3 feet ...

Isolation Feet for Laptop
You and I have a few things in common. I, too, have down-firing subs (3 to be exact, 2 SVS's and one HSU). Together, they smooth out the bass like I've never heard before. I also incorporated Synergistic Research's purple fuses in all my gear that...

I am truly sorry you've been given so much resistance on this issue. I still use a computer for music listening. Around 80% of my music is on my computer. I listen with the Signalyst HQPlayer combined with my T+A DAC 8 DSD @ 512/24. For me it is a...
Speaker switch box for bi-wired speakers
I don’t listen to vinyl often enough to make it a whole separate system. So I’ll switch cables on those rare nostalgic analog days and after I’ve gotten my fill, I’ll switch back to digital where 95% of my listening is done. I know I wouldn’t enjo...
OSRAM 12V 3W
I got an initial response from SR saying they've never encountered the "bulb" in this unit. They requested more info. I sent pics of the bulb lit up and not lit. I've had no response back so I'm taking it that they do not have a fuse to replace th...

If you don't agree, then can you tell me what the "bulb" does? And if you don't like Synergistic Research's products, please don't waste your time replying.
