Audiogon Friday Feel Good Story of the Week
The ST-70 was not designed for low impedance speakers. Provided little more into a 4 ohm load than at 8 ohms. I used mine with Vandersteens and Sound Dynamics. With the right speakers I felt it was the best under $1000 amplifier available in the m...

True. I am keeping an eye on the transport market as I own the Cambridge CXC however may replace it with another. I am very happy with my Audio Mirror Tubadour III DAC.
Tannoy Legacy Ardens - which amp suggestions for 15 big ass babies
I auditioned my Tannoy Sterlings played by the Luxman 550ax. That combination was wonderful. I believe I read that the 550 is bias class A to 20wpc however runs higher in class A/B.
Does the 1.5m 75ohm rule apply to 110ohm?
Thanks, I read too much into your statement of 5/15.
Love to hear from current owners or past users of Isoacoustics Gaia footers.
Ok, but the type of floor makes a difference on the result. In all cases reported herein it would be nice to know what type of floor as well as type of speaker. In my case I have Tannoy Sterling GRs. They weigh 55lbs. Currently  my system is on a ...

I had the B&K ST-140. Purchased in 1985. Sold it on AG in 2011 for 1/2 what I paid for it. Great amplifier!
System Dissatisfaction - My Own Fault
I am surprised that I missed your thread back in 2018. I owned the Pathos Classic One MKII at that time. Sold it about a year ago. Since then I purchased a pair of Tannoy Sterlings. That Pathos would have served me well with those speakers.
