Red, yes you will like Aurios MIBs under CDP, since yourmarble/spoon experiment worked your AC cord and ICs must be somewhat flexible. When MIBs are properly set-up slightesttouch will make CDP swing freely back and forth, the more the swing the b...
Final Labs Daruma Bearings, Opinons?
Actually the Darumas are more similar to Symposium RollerBlocks, Aurios MIBs are a bit different. I have both Rollerblocks and MIBs and if very carefully set-up (perfectly level) the MIBs are slightly better, in both cases heavy/stiff AC cords and...

Redkiwi have you tried Aurios MIBs under CDP?If you do not have stiff/heavy AC cord or ICs, I find them much preferable to any cones I have tried.
Looking for smooth SS pre amp
Other than the MF A3cr if I was looking to buy smooth SS preamp, I would try the Marsh SS preamp, @$1000 Galen Carolis good source for these, I have heard good things about it but have not tried one myself.
Looking for smooth SS pre amp
I think the Musical Fidelity A3cr preamp is tough to beat.Beautiful appearance, remote, dual mono power with choke regulation. Soundstage reviewers choice 2000, class B Stereophile, check soundstage.com review.I own one and only change I would mak...

Cones/Bearings for CD player
Just to clarify about "coupling" component body to nueance shelf, I am not asking about removing stock feet, but Symposium shelfs/platforms supply small blocks of solid metal called "couplers" to bypass stock feet and directlyconnect/couple compon...
Cones/Bearings for CD player
Ernie (Subaru), is your neuance shelf directly contacting your metal rack, if not what is between nueance and rack? Also do you directly couple the metal body of you gear to the nueance shelf, or do you keep existing feet on gear?Same queation for...
Cones/Bearings for CD player
I don't care for tonal shifts caused by cones, but AuriosMIB and Symposium Rollerblocks can be very effective under CDP with internal rotation vibration. I fully agree with Albertporter. They also are close to nuetral with tonal shifting. The only...

Anyone using Aurios Bearings under amps?
Barry points out the only problem with Aurios MIB is stiffAC cord or ICs can prevent them from working, some creativeuse of suspension/supports can sometimes nuetralize this. They are very revealing when properly set up without tiltingtonal balance...
Can any Audioquest Midnight be biwired?
Yes you can buy them with internal bi-wire. Cable has 14 conductors and bi-wire cable and single wire cable are the same, just split up different at the speaker end.It may be cheaper to buy used 2nd set used here for double run as opposed to sendi...
