Why would anyone want class AB amp when class A always sounds better ?
Class A amplifiers don’t always sound better. It depends on the headphones or speakers you’re using. Headphones and speakers with superior transient response (able to keep up with and resolve complex music) tend to sound better with Class A. But n...
Ayon CD player issue

Protecting from cats and dust ???
I’m not sure if I understand completely, but a heavy duty audio rack would do the job. It seems like the rack you currently have is not sufficient. You should not shelter audio equipment with covers and whatnot. Keep them at normal room temperature...
Power Conditioning: Transparent PowerBank 6 vs Emotiva CMX-6
I don't have real-world experience with these 2 units, but they're both great brands.Emotiva in general is a solid value brand. If I were you, I would consider how many joules of power protection each unit offers. Based on that, you can decide to ...

Vincent SA-T7 --Attenuator Question
I don't know about the gear you mentioned.Louder isn't always better. It depends on the track/recording.For instance, if you listen to - Born to Win by Roxanne Potvin too loud, there are sharp peaks in her voice that would be fatiguing at higher v...
A bit of an epiphany...with humble embarrassment
Cool story bro.Sounds like you’re being proactive. Good luck with your system.Acoustic foam on the wall can help. Ideally, you want to avoid sound waves hitting solid surfaces and then dispersing in the air. Think of creating a barrier around them...
Has anybody had any reliability issues with VAC amplifiers?
When you say VAC amplifiers, I'm going to assume you mean vacuum tube amps.In that case no. Fostex was the brand. Reading/always following the owners manual helps.
Mickey Newbury
Sounds cool.So in your opinion, was this track recorded/mastered well?If so, I’d love to hear it.

Total Contact ....@millercarbon  I read what you wrote about this product. OP, check it out it. Overtime some conductivity issues can arise. it is not unreasonable to assume there is merit to this product.
