World's BEST ac outlets.......Maestro outlets
It is amazing how an outlet can improve things across the board and no negatives I can recall. I am to lazy to do any a/b-ing. So it is nice to hear others comments. Tbg that is a lot of outlets. Are there any that you have heard in that price ran...
Jeff Rowland
Jeff is a very nice man and makes time for less fortunate people. He is not a personal friend. I just have seen him at some dealers and have been to his company with other retailers and got to see his operations and visit with him at times. So I k...
"Audiophile" fuses. A comparison.
Just a touch of wine and rosemary with that is awful good(thats! an oxymoron). I like where this thread is heading. I am hungry.
High Fidelity Cables CT-1designed by Rick Schultz
03-08-15: SwampwalkerI think Rick has a $70K+ speaker cable that is all magnets. Maybe Audiocrack should try one of those? For $70K it should be made out crack, not magnets. 03-09-15: MapmanHey its a high fidelity thread so the sky is the limit her...
World's BEST ac outlets.......Maestro outlets
I received a maestro outlet about 3 months ago, mostly due to this thread. It has been a nice improvement over a 45 yr old outlet our nice house came with. The maestro has a lot better grip than the old outlet but not a death grip. Which I think i...
Clean those conduit boxes.
Before I run a cd I put a daunting stare at one place on my system a few minutes and after that it seems to give me a more focused sound. When I put my speaker cables up on risers I seem to notice more space around the music flowing through those ...
Belles 350a or Mccormack DNA -1 Deluxe?
I have the belles ref.150 v2 and I have heard the McCormack dna 1. I agree with both Shubert and Mofi. Two good choices.
what do i power my thiel 3.6 with
I have had theils. I have liked all their speakers. But and this is a big but. They don't fit into systems easy. You have to build a system around them in many cases. And to even get used compatible components will run a minimum many, many times th...

I guess I got caught up in the hysteria. Boy it is easy to get excited and loose equilibrium. So what are the facts, just the fax man, nothing more. I guess I will have to go to another thread for that.

I think, if I understand Mapman correctly, next time I start making a change I should start with the cables first and work out from there. Spend more on my cables. And I agree with him if understand all the comments on this thread are correct, tha...
Amp Recommendation for Vienna Acoustics
I am glad you are getting familiar with the VA's. I have found on the Mozart Grands the most difficult balance is what you are dealing with. Components, mostly the amp in this case, that control the lower midrange and below, and then do not have t...
What speakers for 10k?

What speakers for 10k?
Where do you get beethoven grands for 2k? An inquiring mind wants to know. Thanks
Describe ube sound vs solid state
I agree. Ube's are fun. I like listening to my system with my ubes and roasting a marshmellow on an open gamma wave from a ube. I also buy old ubes and like to put them in to see them arc up and down the glass. It is like a science fiction movie i...
Capacitor log Mundorf Silver in Oil
Where can you go to listen to a modded speaker to see if it will work for you? Much more difficult. You a taking a much bigger chance on a modded one. What that risk results in can be poor resale value.
