What CD titles to get from BMG???? BMG remanufactures CDs and so making them worse than some CD-R copies. They have an originals in catalogue but they never specify and you never know what you're getting from them.
Speaker match for Plinius 8200 Mk II Totem Forest despite being only two way but weigh 100lB per pair and dive onto 20Hz at ease with -3db. and to 26Hz flat. They're great for medium and small size rooms.Dynaaudio 1.3 or 1.8 might also match your quest.
preamp to mate with McCormack DNA 1 ...to my simple philosophy about breakin'-in i'd say that $hit will never become a flower within the time and there are ONLY small changes occur during that period. much more larger proccesses occur with human psychological and audiable adoptation...
preamp to mate with McCormack DNA 1 4yanx, to be more precies I'd say it might or might not take a long time to break-in. Theoretically inside the trans there is a large deal of reactive interfearance between isolation wires and core that might not sound right firstly but will event...
Plinius 8200 MkII -- best integrated ss amp? I don't know if your speakers are bi-wirable, but you can get matching 8200P and biamp! Becides 8200 works in pretty large margin of class A(upto 15W before switching to B) you can double that pleasure!
preamp to mate with McCormack DNA 1 4yanx, I feel that you'll sell your Kora before bent breaks-in(might take some time for transformer)...Keep us posted
What does "Sounds too Hifi" mean??? ...it's when you don't know how to describe precisely or more specific or haven't enough vocabulary or combination of all above you can say instead: "HiFi", "NotHiFi", "NotTooHiFi" and "TooHiFi"...
Quicksilver 8417 monos modified for EL34s My friend has Quickies M60 the large ones with EL34(he changed for EI Yugos recently) and they have an outstanding built quality. Quicksilver amps are the real sleepers. Don't throw them or you'll miss that sweetness otherwise!
Why go with active preamp? The question is not that straight forward and everyone should in this case integrate components. Is there any CD-player or phono-pre that is able to throw 8...12Volts on the output out here? I know that not too many and if you need that kind of ou...
Totem's "Hawk" and "Forrest":How Hi-End Are They? I've compared Forest against JM Lab Electra 915. They seem to be on the same legue but Electras are much tougher to drive(4 ohm nominal and dive down to 2.5!) If you've no need for super high volumes than Forest would be much better choice for the...
Best Phono Stages on Integrated Amps? some RS phonos do best bryston ones at ease...
Good site for hard to find classical used and new Travis I don't know about adding an "s" but I know that I used to misspell changing "a" on "e" follow?
Help with I would say that Rives partially right but hey what if there is no room and only headphones and still bright?I enjoy my setup even when I'm not in the seet-spot and even when I'm aside of my speakers and It doesn't sound bright or dull from any li...

How do Xover works? And the math is very simple especially if you know algebra:The capacitive reactance Xr = 1/2*pi*f*C [Ohms] where pi is circular constant f is freequency(Hz) and C is capacitance (Farad) The inductive reactance Xl = 2*pi*f*L [Ohms] where L is induc... |
