Recording quality by decade there were good and bad sound engineers from 1950's uptill now, but in general the recording equipment today is WAY better than in 1950's. | |
Getting overtone in a pair of bookshelf speaker. give'em 4...500 hours of break-in or whatever. if they don't sound good out of the box it will not improve. break-in only helps to ones sounding good to sound softer with less of edginess that is usually present in the speaker. tonal balance issue... | |
