Anything will sound better and be less prone to disturbing neighbors  if you place the, on isolating stands or platforms
Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?
Also I will say the tonality of the ohms is very dependent on the signal fed it.    I've done tweaks like wires and minor wall treatments to fine tune the sound.  Also had to switch amps twice since replacing my Maggie's in order to get things rig...
Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?
Not sure what can be done about image height to make more like tall planers.  Dispersion pattern is much different.  Two different beasts in that regard.  YOu can experiment with toe out perhaps in order to get more direct exposure from the tweete...
Has anyone heard the new North American products preamp and amp?
Why do you talk about subroutines when all analog?   Makes no sense.
vintage speakers
I had given mine away to my sister who used them for many years. One days I noticed the rotted surrounds gave her a different pair and took them back to maybe fix up.For those whose systems have improved and evolved overall over time, you really h...
Synergistic Red Fuse ...
Very sticky situation.  Hopefully gets resolved in a constructive manner for all involved.  I'm very interested to hear how it turns out.

The other day I finally I re-foamed an old pair of Boston A40 Series ii speakers that I bought 30 years ago and had sitting idle and put those into my system as an experiment.   What a nice surprise!   These still sound very competitive in their c...
Are Ohm-Walsh micros and 1000 series disrespected because of omni-directional design??
"Reviews of omnis frequently mention that "you won’t get pinpoint imaging" as you would with mini-monitors or whatnot, but overwhelmingly, you don’t get pinpoint imaging in live performances either unless the ensemble is small and you’re sitting f...
Synergistic Red Fuse ...
Its really not possible for anyone other than vendor to generalize accurately . Anything is possible including shorter triggers by design or for other reasons. For these prices in particular you’d hope that the vendors would be as happy to fix an o...
My New Review of the Spatial Hologram M4 Open Baffle Speaker
Has anyone heard the difference between turbo and turbo s models?  Turbo S uses more expensive compression driver apparently but what is the difference in the sound I wonder?

Synergistic Red Fuse ...
One would hope Synergistic will do something to help out in a case like this.    It is an expensive experiment for someone and not user fault if apparent correct fuse blows unexpectedly.  One the right fuse is found, should not be a common occurre...
Will a RCA to RCA adapter hurt the sound?
No way to know for sure other than try and compare.
Synergistic Red Fuse ...
It would seem to me that if there is any question regarding the current rating of a fuse, a maker would lean in the direction of safety and have the fuse blow sooner rather than later. Sooner is safer. Later is riskier. If fuse does not blow and e...
My New Review of the Spatial Hologram M4 Open Baffle Speaker
Hey yesterday I was twiddling with the speakers in my wife’s sunroom (switching in an old pair of Boston A40 sereis II I had just re-foamed to try) and my wife asked out of nowhere if I could put a pair of white speakers in there to match the deco...
