Hard to believe all the crap that flows thru an ethernet cable
Seriously just go wireless to your streamer if you think you have a problem.   I have for years and everything is clean crisp and noise free and no bandwidth issues.   If you have bandwidth issues (not likely with most any recent Wifi gear) that t...
Tekton versus Klipsch
@dsper I heard the Fritz Carerra also off the flea powered tube amp and was amazed at the results. That was in a typical size hotel room. I was ready to buy if I could justify another pair of 4 figure speakers which I could not at the time. Maybe ...
Is $2,844 too much to pay for a fuse?
Price reduced to $28.50 folks! So is this a $28 fuse that was listed for $2844 or vice versa?   Pretty important to know wouldn't you say?   It can't be nearly as good if only $28.50, lol!

They are on sale today! Big discount!  Below cost?   $28.50 is still an expensive fuse. Do the research.

Tekton versus Klipsch
I’ve done a lot of research on what speakers I would use were I to tackle a tube amp in the last few years. Have pretty much narrowed it down to Klipsch Heritage or Fritz, not sure which yet for sure. Would depend on budget,  which room, and suita...
Tekton versus Klipsch
Consider Fritz Carerra or similar.  Very  tube amp friendly, cost effective, and easy to drive!
The Grateful Dead tune that would still make for a great James Bond Theme Song
Mamboni!  Long time!  Good to hear from you!
Class D amps that are superior to all or most?
In the under 10K category, clearly the current winners are the AGD Audion monoblocks. Clearly? How’s that? How many have these or have even heard them or compared them to all the others? I will give them credit for looking cool, what with the SS c...
True or False?
Obviously a more resolving system will resolve more including anything resulting from some change in the system. No mystery there. At that point, the "benefits" of tweaking further (other than to adapt to room acoustics) are mostly subjective and d...
Tekton versus Klipsch
I’ve heard a lot of Klipsch and could live with many models. Have almost pulled the trigger on many occasions. Also classy looks...not for everyone but nice!Limited exposure to Tekton, but not likely to buy. Not crazy about big boxes with lots of ...
Why is science just a starting point and not an end point?
Science explains the music and the gear completely. Don’t be silly. It’s the people or the listeners that defy science.
Class D amps that are superior to all or most?
Every Class D I have heard is very good.  By that I mean near flawless. Not all created equal however.  Some might prefer  some tubes up front to embellish things a bit.
Whats on your turntable tonight?
@big_greg4,I have remastered Panorama CD ripped to server that I stream.   It's a most enjoyable recording,  very clean and crisp!   Just like I remember the first Cars album sounding on vinyl back in college when it first came out.
The Worst Room...
@wturkeyYes, my advice to anyone with a challenging room looking for the fast track to good sound: pick up a suitable pair of Ohm Walsh however you can, maybe do a little tweaking with placement, and max them out with the best stuff you can throw ...
