Aurender n200, talk me out of signing on the dotted line
I wouldn’t do it. Hope that helps.  Hifi Rose I might consider…..
Where was the best reproduced sound you ever heard?
Mbl 111e at United Home Audio in Annapolis Junction MD.   Still in a class all its own. Same setup at hifi shows: meh.
15k USD Speakers for Classical and Pop Extended Listening, Near setup, Low volume
kEF r11 meta just got a glowing review on Audio Science Review site, which is not easy to do.  I’ve heard those and agree with the assessment.  You can’t go wrong with most any current KEF model.  This company really has its act together these day...
The Music Room
TMR is a very safe and reliable company to deal with. Much easier and less risky than buying or selling direct with end users. Transacting with a local user usually helps make things easier and more cost effective, but TMR is a good go to in cases...
Moved from Logitech Squeezebox to Cambridge CXN V2 w/NAS - sound not as good
Nothing to lose trying the built in Cambridge DAC just to see/hear. Cost does not always determine what sounds best. I used to run Squeeze system then Plex with older DAC then acquired Cambridge Evo 150. The built in DAC is pretty good. That’s wh...

Have you tried the DAC in the Cambridge?  Are you streaming your own files or using a streaming service?  If your own files,  still using Logitech Media Server?   Has any other aspect of the streaming changed besides physical streamer device used?
Turntable prices. Is my mind going?
Fancy turntables look way cool and do not hurt anyone. More power to them! Choose your hobby and yabba dabba dabble away!

Stereophile review of the $30,000 tekton speakers
Speakers all pretty much do the same thing. People choose what they like and how much to pay based on whatever it is that matters to them. Ginormous speakers that cost less than other less humongous designs certainly will have a niche. That’s Tekt...
Stereophile review of the $30,000 tekton speakers
MI found a good local deal on a used pair of Sonus Faber Concerto Domus. Lovely sounding and looking speakers. My wife made no gripes about these in the family room. They are a delight and definitely ooze class and refinement. 👍
Stereophile review of the $30,000 tekton speakers
My opinion is Tekton started out (like Zu) offering some unique products for very competitive prices to the "high end market" , but once established in the "high end" market, vendors then also attempt to milk it by offering more expensive high pro...
Streamer with PLEX-like UI and companion app? Or sending PLEX stream through DAC?
I have been using Plex for many years.   Did a shootout and moved to Roon.  I still use Plexamp.  Message me if desired to discuss.
How important is the efficiency of a speaker to you?
Efficiency is not important to me in that good quality full range efficient speakers are large and bulky. Large and bulky is the last thing I need. My goal has been to downsize. Otherwise, some of my favorite speakers sound wise are very large, ve...
Are You a Swifty?
It doesn’t matter what I think.
