Acoustically, happiness begin with the voice of our mother  when we  awaked in her, or from her... Acoustically speaking, the heart beat music of the mother and our own heart beat  correlate with her is the first happy melody...  Acoustically if...

Testing bass is not testing a deep frequency but a lot of  band range interacting... If an audio system/room do not reproduce  well a piano you had lost your money.... To test bass i use preferably piano, tuba, and organ ..  
Sharing some audio recordings from my listening session this past weekend
Sound good on my well optimized low cost system... In fact it sound better than some very much costlier system as evaluated from my low cost one . I dont see the room acoustics but it sound good... Congratulation!  
what system musicians prefer? Do they care?
My friend who was a trombonist in a classical orchestra was cynical about many musicians takes on musical matter and  despise audiophiles as maniac... i think there is in the musicians crowd the same amount of interest and disinterest for audioph...

Horowitz is able to play everything more than well.... But Scriabin music ask for a magician dedicated to him in a total devotion ( like Wagner and Beethoven ask for total devotion)... He is not my favorite in Scriabin, for example Igor Zhukov is...

it is more fun to learn how to do (acoustics among other things) than just plug and play... There is not slow car or fast car in audio,  any system at any price need acoustical,mechanical and electrical optimization... The price has nothing to do ...
